Chapter 42

Mina's POV

"Good morning Mina sweetie!" My mom said as I walked down the stairs slowly holding onto my tummy—it's getting bigger now and I'm just in my first trimester so I'm really careful with my actions now especially Chaeyoung, you don't know how paranoid she gets like when I got a little burn from mistakenly holding the hot pan without the pan holder she scolded me first about I should be careful and all but then she treated my burn and cooked me my favorite—she's paranoid but she's sweet.

"Good morning mom." I said as she hugged me and looked at my not so little tummy anymore and caressed it.

"And hello there little angel, we're going to see your gender later and we can't wait." She said caressing my tummy and looked at me smiling.

"I can't believe you're going to be a mom soon my baby." She said as her eyes teared up with tears now streaming down her face.

"Aww~ mom don't cry you should happy you're going to have a grandson/daughter now and I'm still you're baby you know." I said and pouted with my puppy eyes making her chuckle while she wipes her tears away.

"It's too early yet here we are crying, let's go they're waiting at the dining area." She said and lead me to the dining area where dad and Chaeyoung are. As soon as Chaeyoung saw me she quickly got up and approached me.

"Good morning hon." She said and pecked my lips before crouching down and put her ears on my tummy while holding it.

"Good morning to you as well our little angel, be a good girl or boy to mommy today okay? Dada won't be here." She said and kissed my tummy before standing up facing me.

"Sorry I can't come with you and mom I just have an important meeting today and I can't miss it, I'll make it up to you later when I get home." She said smiling to me apologetically while I just nodded my head smiling at her.

"It's okay Chaeyoungie, you can't know the gender too so it's okay that you're not coming." I said giggling as I sat down with her sitting beside me placing foods on my plate again.

"I bet your mom told you to do that." Dad said and glanced at mom who winked at me and smiled before turning to my dad.

"What do you expect I'm her mother." She said chuckling and the whole morning we ate and just talked until we all need to go to our own businesses; me and mom at the hospital Chaeyoung and dad at their companies.

"I'll see you later okay? Eat your meals and don't skip got it?" Chaeyoung reminded me as we arrived at the hospital parking lot with my mom.

"Yes yes hon you don't have to remind me that again and again." I said chuckling while she just smiled at me.

"It's for you to not forget, anyways you guys have to go you'll be late for your appointment, take care and I love you." She said and pecked my lips and smiled at me.

"You take care too and behave yourself Son Katarina Chaeyoung got me?" I said and raised an eyebrow at her while she just chuckled.

"She's not going to cheat on you sweetie but yeah behave yourself Chaeyoung-chan." Mom said and Chaeyoung nodded smiling at the two of us.

"I will don't worry." She said and kissed my cheeks before going down and opened the door for me and my mom.

"I love you Mrs. Son-Myoui Sharon Mina and you too our little angel." She said before kissing my lips and caressed my tummy.

"We love you much more Chaeyoungie~" I mumbled and smiled at her while she fixes my dress straightening it—we didn't let announce my pregnancy to the public because of reasons and being careful so we hide it by me wearing oversized clothes but I've been wearing dresses and shirts that are oversized at home just oversized shirts with just my undergarments and that's it I became comfortable with it since I got pregnant.
