Chapter 8

Mina's POV

Right after I woke up I checked if Chaeyoung is still in the room but she isn't so I guessed that she's downstairs having breakfast so I went out the room and went to the dinning area.

"Good morning Lady Mina." One of the maids greeted me as I entered the dinning area where foods are already placed on the table.

"Where's Chaeyoung?" I asked while I was sitting the chair and looking at maid.

"Oh I'm sorry Lady Mina but I don't know, I didn't see her this morning she might've went to the company early today." She answered as she places a cup of coffee in front of me and bowed but then something came to my mind so I stopped her while she looked back at me.

"How long has she been living alone?" I asked because I'm really curious and I don't know how to ask her directly she might get angry at me or not even talk to me.

"Since her mother died she has been living alone, her father wanted her and her brother to come with him to the states but she didn't want to and so did her brother." She answered and nodded—so it's been really long?

"Uh do you perhaps know anything that she really likes? Like food or place or anything?" I again asked because I want to do something for her to be close with me and who knows we might become friends or we might fall in love—wait! What?!

"She likes to paint since she was a kid, she also likes to go places that are quiet where she can breath and clear her mind and strawberries are her favorite fruit she loves those so much." She said and I nodded while she excused herself and went back to the kitchen.

"You're up early." I heard someone spoke and I turned back and saw Chaeyoung wearing a sports bra and a jogging pants and girl she's sweating—I have to admit she looks freaking hot!

"D-don't you have work today?" I asked as she sat down at the center chair while the maid from earlier placed a cup in front of her and it's—milk?

"Dad told me to not go to work today and spend the day with you since it's our first day." She answered before putting a spoonful of food inside her mouth and why is she distracting me from eating?!

"Do you have work today?" She asked and I looked at her and nodded as she was looking at me too.

"I'll take you there instead." She said focusing on her food again while I was still looking at her because she's really distracting me right now!

"Are you ready?" She asked when I got down the stairs wearing a dress to go to work while she's wearing casual clothes just an oversized shirt and track pants.

"Let's go then." She said and I nodded then we both went out and she opened the door for me before going to her side and drove away to JYP building.

"You'll wait here?" I asked and she shook her head.

"I'll meet my brother inside." She simply said and I nodded then we both got out the car and went inside the building. I went straight to JYP's office while Chaeyoung met with her brother.

"Good afternoon Sir." I greeted when I got inside his office and bowed.

"Good afternoon Ms. Myoui or should I say Mrs.Son?" He said chuckling well he was there at the wedding since he is a friend of Chaeyoung's father but no one else knows about us getting married just those who came to the wedding.

"Just which you are good with Sir." I said and he nodded then gestured for me to take a seat and so I did.

"You are scheduled to have a photoshoot in a month at Busan for the nature theme of Elle, but for this month you'll be attending a fashion week next week and a photoshoot the week after got it?"He said and I just nodded my head smiling at him but by just thinking of it I'll be pretty tired this month.
