Chapter 36

Mina's POV

I'm here in the kitchen cooking something light for our dinner tonight, the maids wanted to cook but I told them that I'll cook and I insisted so they couldn't do anything to just let me so while I'm waiting for my wife to arrive I'm cooking dinner.

"Minari~ I'm home!" I heard Chaeyoung called me from the living room making me smile because she came home early today.

"I'm in the kitchen hon!" I yelled then turned back to what I was cooking then seconds later I felt someone hugging me and I already know who that is.

"You came home extra early tonight." I said hearing her giggle.

"Well I wanted to spend time with you tonight and take you out." She said before pulling away from hugging me making me turn to her after I placed our food on a plate.

"Take me out? But I cooked dinner." I said and pouted earning a light chuckle from her.

"We'll eat dinner first and I'll let you change your clothes before we go." She said hugging me with her face at the crook of my neck.

"Is my cub tired?" I asked and she nodded her head.

"We can just stay here and not go out tonight you know?" I said and she quickly looked at me and shook her head.

"I want to take you out tonight, it doesn't matter if I'm tired it's just from work but since you're going to be there with me I'm fully charged up already." She said smiling at me lovingly before pecking my lips making me smile too.

"Why are you so sweet today huh?" I asked smiling at her teasingly.

"Can't I show love and affection towards my wife?" She asked back while I shook my head making her smile.

"That's what I thought, now let's go eat what you've cooked for dinner." She said leading me to the table while holding both our plates on her hands while I sat down.

"Thank you for the food~" We both said in unison before diving into our dinner which is Pesto that I cooked and learned from Nana when I was in middle school.

"Where are we going now Chaeyoungie?" I asked when she started driving away from our house.

"Somewhere beautiful Minari." She said glancing at me smiling before focusing on driving again. We stopped at a convenient store after minutes of driving she was about to go out when I said I was coming with her stopping her.

"It's cold outside, are you sure?" She asked looking at me worriedly while I smiled and nodded then she went out first and opened the door for me.

"Wait wait stop right there Mrs. Son." She said so I stopped and looked at her and she's taking off her coat—I forgot to bring mine because I didn't think it would be this cold.

"You have to wear this to warm you, we'll buy hot packs inside later." She said putting her coat on me before finally looking at me and smile pecking my lips.

"You're acting extra sweet I'm really thinking you did something." I said and glared at her while we were entering the store but she just chuckled and took a basket.

"If being sweet and surprising my wife is a crime then I'm gladly admitting the crime that I did." She said while we were walking to an aisle where chips are and picked up a few before going to get drinks.

"Uh excuse me?" Someone said making both me and Chaeyoung turn around to look at who it is and saw a girl—I think she's just 18 or 19 I mean basing on her uniform she looks like she's in middle school going up.

"Yes how may we help you?" Chaeyoung asked looking at the girl with a poker face making me pinch her side secretly—is she trying to scare her?

"I'm sorry about my wife she's just kidding but what can we help you with?" I said and asked and she took out her phone.
