Chaeyoung's POV
"Miss Son look here!"
"Miss Myoui how is being a wife of Son Chaeyoung?"
"Miss Son I heard your wife is going to be a leading lady and debuting in a movie, how do you feel knowing that she will be working with a man?"
Press people kept asking questions when we walked on the red carpet for the Christmas eve celebration and there are many flashing lights because of the cameras.
"It's okay for me that she's working with someone else specifically a guy, I trust my wife." I said answering the last question I heard after posing for the cameras with Mina clinging onto my arm. We were about to walk inside but I stopped when I heard a certain question that made my blood boil.
"Is it true that Mina only got married to you because of money? Is she really a gold digger?" One of the press people asked making me turn around and look at the crowd of press.
"Who said that?" I asked and everything got silent there cameras stopped from flashing and the place is in total silence.
"I said who said that?!" I asked yelling anger rising in me then a guy was pushed to the front holding a camera.
"You asked that?" I asked and he nodded his head not looking at me.
"As Miss Myoui's wife I tell everyone of you that-that is not true if she got married to me for only money why is she still working and living her dream? Why is she refusing expensive gifts that I give her if she's only in this marriage for money? Why is she still here with me if all she wants is money? Not everything you hear from someone is true they're not us they don't know a thing about us for you to gossip things that aren't true, don't listen to rumors that came from people who don't know us and vice versa, and never insult my wife in front of me and call her names and things like that because I'll make sure that you lose your job and I'll ruin your life." I said looking at all of them then to guy who asked the question.
"You made the wrong move tonight, I'll make sure you lose your job." I said leaning to his ears then pulled away smiling and fixed his necktie and patted his shoulder before going back to Mina who has her head down and held her hand.
"Don't look down they don't know you to gossip things like that don't listen to them and only listen to me." I said lifting her chin up and smiled at her caressing her hand and pecked her lips before walking inside completely—I'm a Son what do you expect from me? I'm bold and I have no fear, just losing her is my fear.
"I'm sorry about the guy from earlier Chaeyoung Mina, we already sent him away." Jackson said welcoming me and Mina to our table that we are sharing with them and his boyfriend BamBam—Yeah they're gay.
"It's okay Jackson no worries." I said while letting Mina take a seat first before I sat beside her with Jackson and BamBam in front of us—Jackson's family is the one helding this Christmas eve's party for all their business partners and close friends and since my family is a close friend and a business partner of the Wang corp. I'm invited here.
"How are you two doing?" BamBam asked looking at us.
"We're doing good, Chaeyoung has been very naughty tho." Mina said shocking me making me look at her while these two laugh.
"She has been like that ever since, you know her." Jackson said and high five with BamBam and winked at Mina who laughed as well.
"Yeah she has so I'm already used to it." Mina said laughing with the two—and I swear tho she's teasing me just hearing her laugh is enough for me to not be upset anymore.
"You know you're still whipped for Mina even after all these years, you haven't changed a bit when it's her." BamBam said smiling at me while I glanced at Mina having fun with her friends from the industry that also came here tonight.
"It's her Bam, how could I not be like this when it's her right?" I answered now looking at him drinking my wine while he smiled and chuckled.
"It's obviously impossible for Katarina to not be like this when it comes to Mina, she's a whipped ass wife." Jackson said placing his hand over BamBam's shoulder—who's the whipped ass?
"Says the guy who's whipped for his boyfriend." I said and playfully rolled my eyes at them then I felt someone placed their hand on my shoulder and when I looked who it was I saw Mina pouting—that's the most cutest view for me!
"Why are you pouting baby? what's wrong?" I asked holding her hand caressing them softly.
"Nothing." She said and finally smiled and pecked my lips before walking away again going back to her friends.
"I bet they wanted to see how whipped you are for her." BamBam said and laughed with Jackson making me roll my eyes at them.
"Wanna dance Minari?" I asked Mina who looked at me smiled and nodded so we stood up and went to the center where others were dancing too, she wrapped her arms around my neck while I placed my hands on her waist as we both swayed to the music playing not saying any words and just enjoying the moment.
"Chaeyoung~" Mina called and I just hummed as a response as she smiled at me.
"Don't leave me okay? You said you don't want to lose me again right?" She asked and I just nodded smiling at her even tho I'm curious at her sudden question.
"Since you don't want to lose anymore, I want you to always be with me okay? Never leave me alone, never let go of my hand hold it tight 'kay?" She again asked and I again nodded my head earning a smile from her—her damn gummy smile that I've always loved.
"I promise Mina, you have my word and my heart, you will always have me no matter what." I said and smiled at her sweetly earning a smile from her again.
"I love you Mrs. Son-Myoui Mina, my one and only love." I said and she just smiled at me and leaned forward attaching her forehead to mine.
"You're my hell in heaven Son Chaeyoung, and I love you no matter who and what you are." She said and pecked my lips making me smile while these butterflies in my stomach went crazy because of that. We kept dancing until we got tired and just sat down with Jackson and BamBam again and just had fun all night with friends chatting talking drinking and eating and all that in the party—and I must say this is the best party I've attended ever, because it's with Mina, she's here with me and that's enough for me to be happy—she's all I need to be happy.
