Chapter 48

Chaeyoung's POV

It's been a week since that incident happened where we lost our first son and it's also been a week since Mina had spoken a word, she haven't talked to anyone yet including to me and I don't know what to do now—I already lost Aki and out of all of us Mina is the devastated one I mean I am too but she was the one carrying Aki in her womb she grew more fond of him than I did so I know that it's much more harder for her and I understand her.

"Miss Son here are the papers that the development team wanted you to see." My secretary said coming inside my office then placed the papers on my table before going out—these papers are actually for the renovation for the part of my hotel in Busan that got blown up I asked them to make a new design for it. I looked at all the papers and finally after minutes of looking I finally found one that would be better so I put the rejected papers on the bin then went out my office to go to the development group floor. Once I arrived I looked for their team leader to talk about it.

"Oh this is what you picked Miss Son?" He asked and I just nodded my head.

"Who made this?" I asked expecting him to say that it was him because out of all of them he makes the most beautiful designs but I don't always approve his works because sometimes it's too much.

"She did ma'am." He said pointed at a girl sitting on a chair focused on her computer.

"Miss Jung come here please." He said calling the attention of the girl who looked at us and stood up.

"I-i'm Jung Eun-bi." She said and bowed to me while I just hummed—I don't really interact with my employees but I haven't seen her before.

"She's an intern Miss Son she just joined us two months ago." Eunwoo their leader said while I just nodded again.

"You did a great job on your first big project, I'll be looking forward to more of your works Miss Jung." I said before turning away and walked back to my office.

"V look for informations about her and send them to me ASAP." I said while she just hummed before hanging up—I have a different feeling about this Jung Eun-bi and it's something that I should trust.

"Minari~ I'm home!" I exclaimed hoping that she would come and greet me but nothing.

"She hasn't come out of your room young master." One of the maids said as I gave her my bag to put beside my door.

"She has been there all day?" I asked and she nodded before turning away.

"Did she eat anything today?" I asked again after she came back but she shook her head so I just dismissed her and went upstairs to our room where I saw her laying down on the bed with her back facing me. I just sighed and went inside the bathroom and took a bath then dressed myself with something comfortable before going out our room again and went to the kitchen to cook something for her.

"Are you going to cook young master? Let us just do it." One of the maids said so I turned to them and shook my head smiling.

"No need, I'll cook for your lady Mina I can handle this." I said and they just nodded and bowed before walking out of the kitchen leaving me here so I started cooking something light for her to eat—I just made porridge topped with strawberries and I also cut fruits for her to eat because she needs it. After cooking I went back up to our room and placed the tray on the bedside table then sat on the bed close to her and hugged her.

"Minari~ wake up come on you have to eat, they told me you didn't eat anything today so please eat now." I said caressing her shoulder but I only got nothing from her so I looked at her and only saw her with her eyes closed tears streaming down her face—come on Katarina! Do something don't let her just cry!
