More then a best friend

Part 2

Marie pulled in Danielle's driveway, took about 15 mins to get to her house. Before, she got out the car she dried her tears and put make-up om to cover how puffy and red her face is from all that crying. She didn't want her to know because she might kill him, yes she is a very protective best friend over me for some reason. When she was decent and covered up her face well she walked inside and told Danielle's little brother Jeffrey hey and asked her step-father (the guy that Marie can't stand and thinks is a jerk towards his step-daughter) how was he doing? And walked back to Danielle's room finding her listening to music and laying down with her eyes close. Well, being that best friend Marie is she tackled her and said, "So, this is how you welcome your best friend over, huh?" Marie set up and had a big smile on her face and said, "I love you and want to go to the mall?"

While she waited for Danielle to get ready Marie got a text from Edward saying, "I'm sorry I kissed you like that, but I am really confused about my feelings for you." Typical, Marie knows that he has always been confused and didn't come as a shock to her, but for some reason she wanted to burst out in tears when Danielle came back and asked, "Ready to go, Marie?"

"Totally," said Marie. She really didn't want Danielle to find out about what Edward did because she knows exactly how it would end. Marie, also knew that Danielle will always be here for her and knows exactly what to tell her.
