Twenty minutes into dinner, Danielle stood up and asked for her parents attention. "Mom... Dad... I have something to tell you, because I'm tired of hiding. Y'all can not like it but I'm happy and this is what I want." Danielle said standing confident. She grabs Maria's hand and said, "she is my girlfriend and she makes me happy." Danielle said, holding Marie's hand smiling. "Danielle... We will talk about this later... Alone." her mom said stunned. "No." Danielle said, continuing, " whatever you got to say to me, you can say in front of her. Because she is in my life." Danielle puts her money on the table and takes Marie by the arm. She looks back and said, "I'll be at Marie's if you want to talk." and walks out; kissing Marie with every feeling inside her.
