Next day...
Danielle helps Marie towards the couch and makes sure she is settled. "Remember, you have an appointment with a therapist tomorrow at Noon. Don't forget." Danielle said putting Marie's bags in her room. "I won't. Thanks for taking me home and helping me. I know you meant what you said yesterday about leaving. I understand. Just promise me one thing?" Marie said sitting up. "Yes?" Danielle turned around. "Be safe and always remember that I am always here for you, rather your my girlfriend or best friend... I'm always by your side." Marie said, looking right through Danielle's eyes. Danielle stared back and said, "I know honey, but I promise. I just need time to be alone right now and get my throughts together. I'll be back and I'm still here if you need anything, always will be."
As Danielle walked out the door, Marie stared at the fireplace and saw that Danielle put up the collage that Marie made in the last two weeks. 'She is my best friend first.' Marie thought. "I love you Danielle Claiborne." Marie whispers, while her eyes are slowing closing.
