It's His First Date.

Kyo's POV

~After School~

I looked around for Tohru before I ran into Arisa.

"Hey, we're all kidnapping Tohru, so your on your own walking home."

She always talks so nonchalantly, like nothing is happening around her.

"Okay, whatever."

I guess I can just go straight to Master's house. I haven't seen him in awhile, but I'm sure things will be alright. He doesn't have classes on the weekends.

The place still looks the same as it always did. Growing up here was the best thing that could've possibly happened. Losing mom was tough, but having Master around was all the comfort I needed.

"Kyo! Welcome home!" It's him.

"Happy to be back Master!"

"Kyo, you look like you didn't sleep all night. Is there something on your mind?"

I scratch the back of my head.

"You know I don't like asking you for things, but I can't find a better solution, and Tohru said you might be able to help because she doesn't know much about it either."

"Okay, what is it?" He seems serious.

Very serious. I don't know how to tell him, how do I even say it out loud without feeling like I'm going crazy. I don't even know why I'm going to this stupid thing.

"Kyo, tell me. I'll do all I can to support you."

Agh, I feel so stupid asking for his help, but Shigure would laugh, and Yuki would try to dress me up too much.

"Out with it kid."

"The dance."

He looked puzzled.

"The school dance, I need help with the dumb getup I'm supposed to wear." I feel like an idiot.

He cracked a smile. Great.

"THAT'S what you were struggling to ask for so badly?" he laughed,
"Do you really like the girl that much?"

"Okay, okay, you can stop laughing." I'm going to ignore that last bit.

~Formalwear Shop ^-^

"Hello! Welcome in, what can we do for you?" A formal-looking man welcomed us in.

I already feel like my throat is closed, I don't know what to say to anyone, and my face is burning up.

"We need to get him something nice to wear to his school dance!" Master says while patting me on the head.

My arms are crossed in front of me, how am I supposed to act?

Suddenly there was a measuring tape around my neck, then down my arm, then around my waist.

"Alright, let's go look at what we've got!"

"Perfect, thank you." Master always knows what to say.

After about 2 hours of trying on different suits, shirts and ties, we decided on a white button up, black slacks, and cuff links.

But Tohru never told me the color of her dress.

I tugged on Master's arm.

"Uh- Tohru never told me the color of her dress, and I'm pretty sure we're supposed to match somehow."

"Oh no, we've also forgotten the corsage and the boutonnière." He says.

"What? What language is that?"

"I'll call Ayame, one minute." He walks outside.

I wonder what color she'll wear. Never mind, it'll be pink. I guess the only difference will be what the dress looks like.

"A baby pink dress! Also, don't worry, I have the flowers ordered now." Master seems proud of himself.

"I have no idea what you're saying. Why are there flowers?"

"Kyo, did I fail teaching you romance that badly?"

"No, I just tuned you out whenever you talked about it."

Looking in all of the cases, I noticed a pair of cuff links, that were a shade of baby pink.

"What're you looking at K-?" He stopped mid sentence, "THEY'RE PERFECT!"

"That'll be 22,700 yen please."

"Here you go." I go to hand them my card, but Master stops me and hands them his card.

"It's his first date." Master tells the cashier while smirking.

I hide my face.

"Whatever, I'm going out to the car."

"Ahh they grow up so fast, It's only taken him a couple years to finally ask her on a date!"

Am I supposed to have asked her on a date before now? I'm only going because she really wants to go, that's all.

"Okay Kyo. The dance is next week right?"

"Yes. Do I really need to do anything else?"

Master's jaw dropped.

"Have you even STARTED planning for the day date?" He said.

"T-The day date? You mean to tell me there's more than one?!"
