Just Breathe

(This is fan fiction that will follow along with some of the story line from Attack On Titan Season 2. After the chapter Look For me is when everything changes and the plot is free imagination. You can skip these chapters and jump to the free writing. These chapters are just the introduction and goals of the reader.)

Looking down at your bloodstained hands it was almost mesmerizing. Something about it gave you the same feeling as watching a flame dance on a candle. Your nails were long and silver, your skin was a golden complex and your eyes were a rare hazel with blue flecks. Your hair was short with side long bangs and short forehead bangs. If this sounds off it's because it is and so are you.  Everything about you was strange. So much so that not many even knew of your existence.

Perhaps because you never really existed. 

So why is everyone now staring at you? Who are these people in green coats with swords surrounding you?

 "Who are you?!" A woman with glasses  and a ponytail demanded.

 "She ate Ymir!" A short girl with blond hair screamed out in tears. But you were too busy looking at your surroundings. The birds that flew across the blue skies. 

Everything was off. 

This wasn't your home. 

The wind brought in a new welcoming smell, one that you have never experienced. Not even in the forests from where you are from were comparable to this. 

The sky was so calm and breathtaking. You've never seen anything like it. 

It was bright, seeming to have more clarity and vibrant with colors from the sun's reflection. 

The clouds held back the sun from hitting you in the eyes. But you wanted to see it, you wanted to feel its warmth. You felt cold for some reason and the sun seemed to be your only need. As if you have never felt it before. 

Reaching out to the sky as if wanting the clouds to understand that it shouldn't take away what you wanted.  You felt gravity cave in, dragging you down. 

Just when you thought you were on an even floor you seemed to have been on something higher.  

Falling your eyes were now focused on the rubble of rocks below you. It's strange that you didn't feel panic or fear not even embracing the impact of the ground. You were not wired to understand what pain is and just like a baby, this would be your first fall and your first experience of pain. 

Before you could make an impact someone caught you in their arms. They were strong and firm with broad shoulders and seemingly taller than you. But winced in pain from catching you. 

"Hey, are you alright?" The voice was soft but deep with a bit of a rasp. Finally, the clouds cleared away allowing the peeking ray of the sun to beam down on your path. Looking up to see the sun and feel its warmth for the first time. 

Instead you were met with piercing golden eyes. There seemed to have been a small type of electrical spark that passed from yours to his that left you frozen in place. 

This stranger clenched his jaw as a blush formed across his face. 

Without even knowing his hand was holding yours close to his chest with his other arm wrapped around your waist. You had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen and even from not even knowing you he found some type of liking to you.
