The kidnapping of Historia and Eren were placed but there was something that needed to be done first.

Panting heavily, you ran through the forest as the memories of your past life continued to chase after you like spirits. All those days of your life you could have done something more. "Something else. Something better." Your world slowed down as the forest trees passed you in a blurr. Your legs felt heavy as your eyes rose up to white opening of the forest.

The small giggles of your sister were at the hearing of your ears.
"I want strawberry flavor!"
"Strawberry? There's chocolate, there's Oreo."
"Mmm, no. I want strawberry.."

You sat beside her on a bench watching an ice cream truck parked at the edge of the road with it's small bell.
"You're weird. How could you not want to try other flavours?"
"Because not many people like strawberries so I want strawberries."

She kicked her legs back and forth while holding onto the seat edges of the bench.
A month we walked by with her son as you and your sister watched them head to the ice cream truck. Her son chose his ice cream as she paid for it.
"When can we see mommy?"

You gazed down at your sister as she looked at her shoes with holes revealing a toe.
"Mommy doesn't exist anymore. She didn't do shit to keep us safe so she doesn't matter!"

"But mommy was scared… maybe we should have protected mommy...she had nowhere else to go like we have nowhere else to go."

"Listen here!" You got infront of her.
"Our family is shit! We can do better! I'll be your mommy and I'll be your sister!"

"But we don't have a home or any money. I'm hungry.." her eyes teared up making your heart ache.
"I!" You were furious to prove her wrong but the truth is. You didn't know how to take care of her.
"I'm hungry too…"

When the world felt heavy on your shoulders there were no jobs for you.

Except attempting to sell newspapers.

"Get the latest news! Man found dead in his home! Winter storm passing through on Wednesday afternoon! Celebrity divorces her husband only to later marry! Man searching for a wife with blond hair and blue eyes!"

"Hey girl! Come here!"
A man in a car with shades and a cigarette called you from inside. His Window was rolled down with his arm hanging out. You felt like it wasn't safe but you were willing to take the risk. To at least put your trust.
"What can they do? I'm just a girl."

As you walked up to them holding the newspaper out to him with your shaking hand he reached out grabbing your hand.
"Grab her!" He screamed as another man came out from the back.
"No! Stop it!"
He grabbed hold of you to take you in the back holding his hand over your mouth as they drove.

Your eyes were shaking as they looked at the mirror reflecting the glasses off of the mirror.

"Here's the camera. Take good shots!"" The driver reached back passing the guy the camera. Reaching into your pocket you took out the box cutter knife stabbing the fat man in the neck.

He screamed as the driver looked back. "You little shit!" You would grab the stack of newspaper smacking his face to distract him as you sliced his wrist making him let go of the wheel.

He screamed crashing into a light pole making you hit the passenger seat. The driver's head was against the wheeling making the car keep on honking making bystanders stop. Shaking, you looked at the seats that were covered in pictures. Stopping you picked one up seeing something despicable.
