You felt as the world stopped moving. {Is he talking about me?}

"Hmm?" Kenny stopped himself from throwing the chair. "Who must you be talking about?"

"The woman that lived in the cabin, what did you do to her?"

"I don't know what you are talking about."
But there was a distinct form in Kenny's voice that gave him away.

"Was it fulfilling to take her in?"
His eyes lowered to stare at the wooden floor as he gripped the gun.

"Quite an amount, why does it concern you? Was she your girlfriend or something? I would have thought that by now you would have learned that we don't deserve to have anything of great value, just the dirt beneath our feet is the best we can value. We both know and share those values, I'm sure I taught you that."

"No," His eyes sharpened to reflect the wine. "We don't." He would never share those same values as Kenny.

Gripping the weapon he was ready to play out his move. Kenny made it sound as if he turned you in because he's never valued anything in his life other than himself. So you were nothing else but something for his further gain, therefore you probably weren't even alive.

Once again he felt that devouring feeling that he had failed those he held close to him.
His friends, comrade's, you, and most of all himself.

Gritting your teeth you put away Reiner's knife to stand up staggering around like a drunk.

{I can't have Kenny kill Levi and I can't have Levi kill Kenny. Everyone's lives rest upon my hands. I need to change things. If not my second chance for living was worth nothing.

Levi, I know you feel like you lost me but you haven't.

I wanted to be someone who could change things I wanted to be someone else. You told me to just be myself so that's what I've been doing.

I need to do this for myself, for her.}

Kenny looked at the mysterious drunk walking toward him. "Hey! Can't you see we are trying to have a conversation!"

Levi stopped seeing the wobbling figure reflecting through the wine glass at that point he didn't care who was in the way. He wanted Kenny to pay for what he did.

"I said move it!" Kenny shouted.

Looking up his eyes widened open seeing you move in towards him. Raising the chair to swing it you managed to duck below moving forward to knee him in his stomach.

"Shit!"
The words came out as a blow of air as his eyes bulged out he coughed out drooling, Levi took the advantage to rise up taking aim their eyes met as he pulled the trigger

You looked back and quickly tackled Kenny as the shells hit your back. You looked back at Levi as you were blown forward out of the bar along with Kenny, his hat flew off with yours.

Levi managed to escape from the other side while someone came over.

"That person!" He curved through the roofs using his maneuvering harpoon to kill some of the men that got in his way. Remembering the amber eyes that shined toward him. When he fired the bartenders shotgun you tackled Kenny taking the hit to your back.

"I knew I heard someone say my name. It was her!! Those eyes there's no doubt about it!"

When Kenny had killed Nifa, one of the soldiers from the scouts who was under the command of Hange. She was assisting Levi in keeping watch of Historia and Erens cart as they attempted to escape the city.

He knew Kenny had something to do with your disappearance. That boiling rage of seeing that man who had raised, taught and then left him appear in his life only to take whatever he held close.

"Get out of my way!" He knew he shouldn't go back; he had to find Eren and Historia. His men needed his help as well. But that sharp instinct in his mind awoke.

You were alive! He needs to protect you!

He slices through two gunmen with his blades flipping over the roof to maneuver his boots against the dirt road making a sharp turn.

A tall blond woman looked down at you who laid on top of Kenny on the dirt road. Grunting you stood up meeting the barrel of the woman's shotgun.

Instinctively you quickly managed to smack her gun away as she spun around to kick you.

Locking her leg on top of your shoulder you swept her foot from beneath her allowing you to spin her in a circle mid air.

Levi passed over seeing you take out the woman by hand until you gazed up to him making eye contact as they chased him.
"It is you!"

His eyes were fixated seeing the woman he thought he had lost still alive.

{Levi!}

"Get away from here!" You shouted seeing him attempting to come your direction. The gunmen appeared before him making him fall back to dodge their shots.

"Fire!" The men screamed as you felt one shot hit your right side chest and another shot toward your abdomen.

"No!!" Levi went back slicing one of the gunmen as he turned over to see you had disappeared.
"Where did she??"

He was outnumbered and he had to make a decision. Stay behind to look for you and possibly lose the rest of his team along with Historia and Eren. Or fight back that

Your eyes were all he needed to confirm you would be fine they were strong and confident.

"All I ask is for you to trust me" your words repeated in his mind. You've made it this far and as difficult as it is he has to leave you.

"Stay strong."

Shutting his eyes he was forced to retreat to find the cart meeting up with Jene and Mikasa.

"Don't chase the girl!" Kenny groaned getting up while the blond woman stood up dusting herself off.

"Some dirty trick she did." She was pissed from how you used her own attack against her.

"The greatest thorn in my ass, she kicked your ass too Truate." he tried to laugh it off but groaned holding his stomach from where you kneed him

"She sure took some hits before running away. He came back probably even to save her, are they accomplices."

"Did those fools go after her?"

The blond woman stares at him seeing how he avoided what she had stated.

"Yeah." The woman responded.

"Either she lets them catch her or they don't come back. And we need all the men we have. That girl, her mind and will to live are terrifying."

"Since when did you start caring for our men?"
"Since she showed up, it's a long story. I'll talk about it in our next campfire."
He said in an annoyed mocking tone.

"Don't you think you should stop taking in strays? I'm beginning to see you as the uncle of every brat you pick up from the slum."

"She's no brat, go assist the others I'm going after the others."

The blond woman watched Kenny fire the harpoon to a roof as he was pulled up.
