Reiner's eyes glared down into yours. He knew that you were up to something, something that Eren probably put you up to. Whatever it was he was ready for it, ready for whatever manipulative plan that was made. Standing up he kept his arms crossed on his chest as if challenging whatever idiotic moves would be made.

It caught you off guard at first. {Does he know I'm wanting to speak to him? He reminds me of a dad at this point. Mmm yes Reiner Papa!}

{Please stop} your inner voice said.

"Reiner." Your voice caught him off guard. "I can't walk or run away. But could you take me someplace to use the bathroom, even if it means probably pissing on the titans?" Your cheeks flushed from what you just said but you knew that extra detail would help.

It wasn't a bad move. It almost made Reiner laugh at your joke. He made a similar one at one point.

"Just hold it," Reiner said coldly.

{I can't continue to give her any special treatment. If they manage to manipulate her in some way. It'll be a problem for me. I shouldn't have allowed myself to grow attached. But I have to bring her back with us. I need to save her from here. But when push comes to shove. If something goes wrong on retrieving Eren. I'll bring her. Even if I have to sneak her into my home.}

Refusing to break eye contact you attempt again. "Reiner." You say softly. But he doesn't budge. "Fine, maybe Bertholdt will take me." You look at Bertholdt who gave you a fearful look.

{Like, gurl don't get me involved in this. I don't know why but I'm imagining him with long fake nails.} The sound of a woman laughing from your thoughts made you blink confused. {Yep. I've gone crazy.}

Reiner's eyes turned sharp and dangerous. They were something new for Eren. An expression that he has seen in one person. And that person is Mikasa.

{No way, he actually likes her! I just gambled it by his actions around her. But he's proven it to be true!}

Reiner was fighting against doing anything for you but he also wasn't a cold-hearted animal. Plus he also had some envious feelings crawling up his spine. He didn't know what it was only that it bothered him.

Looking at Bertholdt who flinched passively calmed down to exchange some words while you did the same with Eren.

But you never looked at him. "While I'm gone, try to speak with Bertholdt , he seems to be reasonable."

"Right." He responded softly as Reiner used his maneuvering gear to gently help you get on his back.

Before leaving he gave Eren one last glare. Eren didn't exchange any violent expressions; he only relaxed his face. Seemingly to be clueless. {Sneaky bastard} Reiner thought to himself.

Making it deep into the woods he helped you down on the branch as he held your hands to keep you standing. "You already know why I wanted us to be alone." You say with a weak smile while looking down. "Eren put you up to it. He can be a stubborn bastard at times. What was the plan?" He pinches your chin to make you look him in his eyes.

"Reiner, I don't know what's happening. I need you to explain to me what's going on. Which side am I supposed to be on?"

Reiner was silent for a moment since he believes you are suffering the same way he is. "Isn't it obvious? As you probably know you were a Titan."

"You mean those naked fleshy things?"

Your voice was still soft like a pedal. It would have been enough to make him smile but he kept his composure.

"Yes. Ymir, Bertholdt , and I can turn into Titans. I'm the armored titan, Bertholdt is colossal."

"But you seem to be in control, unlike the ones that are chasing us."
