Eren took the time to grab hold of your hand, able to see through your thoughts more clearly.

"You-" there was no desire of even seeing Reiner or being a part of this war. You were unaware of the powers you held so you calling Reiner were not your intentions. It just seemed to have happened.

"What do you want to do then?"
"First I want a warm bath." You chuckle softly. "Levi is helping me."  You keep your voice low as Levi speaks to Mikasa.

When she saw Eren touch your hand she grinded her teeth moving in forward only to have Levi before her. He made her move back threatening to report her for insubordination.

Even if he didn't like having Eren and you speak alone across the hallway. He was more anxious on other officers walking by seeing you without your chains and speaking with a soldier.

Eren was able to read through your thoughts seeing all that Levi has done for you.

"Very well, just know you are not alone. You are strong, you have to be in order to survive in this world. Maybe in your world the real you wasn't accepted but she can be herself in this world

I know you can."

His hand went through your hair as he leaned his head against yours seeing how confident your eyes were. "Perhaps the real you is already here. She just needs time to heal from her wounds, don't take too long we will need you."

"Does he really need to be so close to her?" Mikasa growled with her fist shaking.
The expression on Levi's face and his posture also gave away that he agreed with her.

"Eren! Keep your distance!" He said without a second thought, exposing himself to Mikasa.
"Wait, you and her since when? It's not like you've been with her long enough to even."

"It's not like that, Mikasa. She is a prisoner that I must transfer to her new location. As well they gave me the job of finding out who has been visiting her in the dungeons. Speaking of which has Eren by any chance?"

"No, he's been with us training with Hange."

"Hange." She can testify that Eren has been with her so he can't pin the suspicion on him.

"They finished." She says as Eren and you walk up to them Levi looks down into your eyes and at Eren holding your hand in a gentle grip. "Here you go Mikasa. Take care of this boy, make sure to keep him out of trouble." 

"Yeah." Levi moved in the center, shrugging Eren aside to Mikasa. "Now get going brats."
As they left Mikasa looked back to Levi seeing how he looked down at you as you waved.

{There's no doubt that our Captain has fallen for that girl. But she can't have Eren, I don't trust her. I just don't.}

So it was, you were released in secret leaving the public and nobles to await for your confirmation of being released.
This was to give you a headstart in finding a place to hide before the confirmation of your release was published.

Levi journeyed with you to a suited cabin on the south side of wall Rose. At times you'd receive a visitation from Eren or Historia but Levi would visit you through the night. Maybe 3 days would go by until he visited to stay for the night.

In the short term you had grown fond of him even missing him when he leaves. It would get lonely and the days would last longer than usual when you were by yourself.

Being alone during those days seemed to drag on waiting for the days of his coming.

The night was still with only the sounds of crickets and the breeze against the tree leaves.
While stirring your soup a knock at the door brought a wholesome feeling.
"Must be him, he's here earlier than usual." You walked to the door opening it and your eyes widened to see the face of the visitor.
