"When Ymir ate our leader he owned the Jaw Titan. The Jaw Titan is one of the 9 Titans. And so Ymir held that power until you ate her. You are now the with holder of the Jaw Titan. Here." He hands you a knife. "Use this to cut your palm to turn into the Jaw Titan. Unless you decide to bite your hand like Eren, I wouldn't say anything about it but nothing will be easy."

"Wow! You're already trusting me with a pointed weapon." You accept the knife from the handle touching the tip with your finger. "Just don't break my trust."

You nod your head in agreement. "What's your name by the way?" You stop on the spot as your mind turns blank. It's like the show where SpongeBob tried to remember his name.

"I can't remember."

Reiner blinked in confusion but let out a small chuckle rubbing his jaw. "If we are going to trust each other you should tell me your name." He seemed not to believe that you didn't know your name.

"Reiner, I have very little memory of my past. I'm filled with memories of Ymir and my younger sister. I know she's real, Reiner." You grab hold of his arm making him look back at your expression you were distorted with an expression he recognized on himself.

{What's going on? I just asked her about her name!?}

"And I am willing to do anything to get back to her. She's alone, I am all she has."

Your voice was a familiar voice that he recognized.

{Ymir?) As he stared down at you, you kept shifting to look like her. {She does resemble her in some ways. No! That's wrong!}

"If you can't remember your name. How long do you think you were trapped as a mindless titan? For all, we know she could have respectfully passed away or was also turned into a titan." He says attempting to bring back the emotional bond you were sharing with him.

Your stomach, it felt that sickening feeling again.

"If she relied heavily on you for protection then she probably didn't make it. We've been killing hundreds of Titans day in and day out. Months to years. She would have most likely died."

Growling you tackled him down with an unknown strength that streamed through your body.

He was on guard but relaxed when your tears fell onto his cheeks.

"She's alive..." You say whimpering. "I know she is! I know she's real. You wouldn't know what it's like to dedicate your entire life! Your entire existence for someone else other than yourself." Reiner was struck back, taken back to his time training as a warrior.

He did it for his mother.

He did it for his father.

For himself.

For his family.

"You wouldn't know what it's like to sacrifice a part of your own humanity and soul just to keep someone else's clean! How would you even compare yourself to what I've gone through to keep my little sister alive!"

Her face appeared in your head. She had long blond hair. But in your memories she was standing alone in the darkness. You couldn't see her face. The only one that helped you remember a part of her was because of Christa!

Knowing you have your sister is your reminder. A reminder that you were not alone and neither was she.

"It's a promise made. A promise to keep your younger siblings safe. No matter what stupid shit they do, no matter what choices they make. A family is made because one chooses that family. Blood has nothing to do with it."
