It is currently lunch time Friday afternoon, Mads and I are super excited for tryouts
" I can't believe we nailed that stunt yesterday" I said
" I know right, Cynthia and Lauren are going to be so impressed" Mads replied
"Speaking of, here they come" I said

"So I heard that you got invited to a party" she said to me
"Yeah so what" I said
"I also heard that your only going if you make the cheer team and that's definitely not happening"

"Your were talking to Josh and everyone knows that Josh is mine" she stated

"To be fair he came up to her" Mads said in my defense
" I don't care she's not joining the team and neither are you, let's go Lauren we had better things to do" she said just as they left

I really wasn't having this, later when school was finishing I went to get my backpack since I couldn't go to tryouts, I was about to close my locker when someone held it stopping me, and of course it was Josh
"What do you what" I said annoyed
"What's with the attitude and you should be at tryouts right now" he said
"Well thanks to your girlfriend Cynthia, I can't be on the team" I said slamming my locker getting a few weird looks
"Wait hold on, Cynthia is definitely not my girlfriend" he said
"Well that still doesn't help" I said and walked away
Josh's POV
Why would Cynthia say she's my girlfriend, we're not even dating anymore, Nessa has to come and I don't even care if she not on the cheer team
"Wait don't go" I said grabbing her arm
"What now"
"I don't care if you not on the team you can come"
"Really, but what about Cynthia? She is not going to be happy" said asked
"Don't worry about her, I won't let any bad happen to you" I winked and walked away
Nessa's POV
Omg Josh said that I can come, I mean it was his party anyways, but he also said that he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me, what is that supposed to mean, he doesn't even know me
After school I did some homework then I invited Mads over to get ready and to talk about Josh, and she obviously had a crazy reaction
"Yes yes yes, I told you that he like but noooo you were all like 'he wants me for his friends' and look now, he won't let anything bad happen to you, he said that and the best part is he barely knows you, and he's already falling for you!" she said
"Ok I get he might like me but it's not like we'll ever date just like you and Jaden, their bad news" I said
"Really"
"Yeah"

Yep, if I can get with Jaden tonight then you'll give Josh a chance"
