PART THRITY-EIGHT

Josh's POV

Nessa is about 3 months pregnant and it's been stressful

"Baby you have to get up for school" I told as I tried ripping the blanket off of her

"No! I'm never going back to school!" She snapped

"How about I make you some pancakes?"

She slowly pulled the blanket so I could only see her head

"Really?"

"Yeah I'll even put chocolate chips in them"

"Ok I'll get up now"

She got out of the bad and walked towards the bathroom

"I love you" I said

"Go make my chocolate chip pancakes" she muffed as she bushed her teeth

"I love you too" she said as I walked down the stairs and I smiled

After I finished making Nessa breakfast she came downstairs and started eating

"Oh I forget to tell you I going to pick you up from school early to take you to your doctors appointment for another ultrasound" I told her

"Are they gonna tell us the gender?" She asked as she gobbled down her pancakes

"Yep, aren't you excited?"

"Yeah I guess so"

Nessa's POV

Going to school pregnant hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, I only wear oversized shirts and sweatpants to cover my bump, I'm not insecure about it I just don't want people to know, it would be annoying to have people staring at me all the time, most of the day I was pretty tired and anxious to find out the gender of my baby, but finally it's time for cheer practice so I can talk to Mads

"Hey girl, why do you look so sad?" she asked as she stretched, I can't really do cheer anymore because of my pregnancy but I still attend the practices to hang out with Mads and the other girls sometimes

"Josh was supposed to pick me up for my appointment but he didn't and he's not answering his phone" I told her

"You should probably call Jaden, he should know where Josh is"

"Yeah you're right imma call him, I'll see you later and tell you the gender"

"Alright bye I can't wait"

I went out to the school parking lot and called Jaden, he was at a friends and said he'll pick me up as soon as he can

About ten minutes later he arrived

"Hey Ness I hope I didn't take too long" he said

"No you're good I'm just worrying about Josh"

"I'm sure he's fine come on let's go"

I got in his car and he drove me home

"Do you want me to come in with you?" He asked as he pulled up to the house

"No I'm good but thanks" I told him and he smiled and drove away

I went up to the door and it was unlocked, I opened it and saw Josh chugging a bottle of vodka

"Oh babygirl you're home!" he said as he struggled to walk over to me

"Oh my gosh you reek of alcohol" I said and he wrapped him arms around me

"Josh get off me" I pushed him away and his eyes got watery

"I'm so sorry baby I didn't mean to"

"What the hell happened Josh, why are so drunk in the middle of the day and what about my appointment?"

"It's kinda of a long story Ness"

"Are you fucking kidding me?"
