Nessa's POV

*At Home*

"So what's up" Josh asked sitting on my bed

"What's going on Josh, and please don't lie"

"I don't know if I should tell you"

"Josh please if we're gonna be together we can't keep secrets"

"I work for your dad" he blurted out

"Huh, what do you mean"

"A few weeks ago my dad introduced me to you dad. And they were telling me that they were going on a trip. And your dad told me that he has a daughter that needs to be protected because there are some bad men that they used to work with. He gave me one specific rule: 'Don't catch feelings and date her', but I obviously failed at that"

I can't believe this is what Josh has been up to, this is how's he knows everything about me. This means he know about my mom, and how she was killed by one of my dads old coworkers

"So you know what a terrible person my dad is and yet your working with him!?"

"I know dad is bad but when I saw your picture I couldn't say no. I don't expect to be happy but I can't lie to you"

"Well I guess that's better" I smiled

I wrapped my arms around him giving him a hug, no more secrets

Mads POV

I was getting a call from Nessa while I was out with Jaden. I told him that I needed to go to the bathroom or a quick second. I got in the bathroom and answered the call

"Hey what's happening"

"Josh works for my dad and he told to protest me because some of my dads old coworkers might hurt me just like how they did to my mom"

"Are you serious, I knew Josh was bad!"

"No, no it's not like that we worked things out"

"Oh good I was about to hurt someone"

"Haha I know I can't always count on you for that, bye love you"

"Love you too"
