PART TWO

Nessa's POV

I woke up the next day feeling very, well scared, I bumped into Josh yesterday and you know that should explain it, but I will look on the bright side and think of cheer tryouts, Mads and I are going to practice our dance after school today and I can wait

I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and take a shower, when I got out I put on black ripped jeans with a red top and white vans, after I was done Mads came and we started walking to school, halfway there Mads brought up Josh

"So are you just going to avoid him?" she asked

"I honestly think I'm making a huge deal out of this mostly because it's a big school, and he's a senior and I'm a sophomore" I said

"Yeah that's true now we just have to focus on our dance, I'm coming over right?"

"Totally"

Once we got to school I was walking down the hallway and I heard someone yell my name

"Yo Nessa" Josh yelled

I froze, why the hell is Josh fucking Richards calling me, and how the heck dose he know my name, I'm finna get beat up today

"Uh, are you talking to me?" I said shyly

"Is there another girl named Nessa in this school" he said

"I don't think so"

"Well then, Nessa I'm having a party Friday and your invited"

"Really but I'm only a sophomore"

"Who cares, your a hot cheerleader and my friends might like you"

Did Josh just call me hot

"I'm not a cheerleader yet, I still-"

Shh, please stop talking" he cut me off

"Sorry"

"You can bring a friend if you want to"

"Ok, I will" I smiled

"But you can only come if you make the cheer so you better do good"

"Got it"

After he left the rest of the day went by so fast, at lunch I told Mads about what we have to do, and after school we ran home and went to my backyard to start our routine

(I'm not really good at this cheer stuff so forgive me if anything beyond this makes no sense)

"Ok so first we to a cartwheel into a round off, and then a split jump into the splits on the ground" Mads started

"And then we put up one knee and clap, and the other and clap" I added

"And lastly I pick you up, you do a flip in the air, and I catch you" she finished

"Awesome now let's rehearse it" I said

At the beginning I think I messed up the round off, but at the end we did a really job on the jump and catch, after a few more practices, we went inside to get some water, when we sat down Mads kept looking at me in a funny way

"What?" I asked

"So Josh didn't kill you today and you know what that's means"

"What dose it mean?" I said confused

"It means he likes you" she said excitedly

"No it doesn't it just means that he doesn't totally hate me" I argued

"Well yeah but he could've talked to Cynthia or Lauren but he chose you"

"I hate to break it to ya but he said that his friends might like me sooo"

"Oh, but it better not be Jaden because he is mine" she said

I laughed and after a little while she left, and I took a shower because I smelled like grass and sweat, I hopped in bed and went to sleep
