PART TWENTY-EIGHT

Mads and Jaden opened the door

"What the heck are you guys doing here" I asked them

"We're looking for Josh" Mads said

"What do you mean, I'm looking for Josh" I told them

"I'm sorry it was just really last minute and you weren't answering my calls" Mads explained

"That's not a reason"

"Nessa are you ok you look like you've been crying" Jaden asked me

"Yeah I have been crying because Josh's dad just shot mine and I am mentally unstable and this does not help at all!" I cried

"We're sorry Nessa we didn't know" Jaden said

"Whatever just leave me alone"

"Wait do you have a place to stay" Mads asked

"No and why does it matter to you, are you gonna make me stay here and then leave me without me"

"We would never do that just please stay here until we find Josh ok" Jaden suggested

"Well his car is outside if you haven't already notice" I said

"We know, we think he's in the bar across the street but we don't have our IDs" Mads said

"Ok first of all how do you travel across the country without you IDs, and second of all how did he get in there, he not even eighteen yet?"

"We think it's because his dad is very rich and famous around here-" Jaden was trying to say but got distracted by the ambulance and police cars passing the house

"Do you think that's you know" Mads said and I knew what she was talking about

I felt my phone buzz and it was the News

"Famous billionaire Jason Richards was just arrested for the murder of his best friend Michael Barrett, Michael's daughter reported the crime but is now missing"

"What do we do now" Mads said

Josh's POV

While I was drinking a couple of the guys next to me looked at me in a weird way, then the manager came over to me and told me that I have to go

"What are you talking about you know who my dad is, we're cool right?"

The manager said that I still had to go so I got my jacket and stormed out the building to my car across the street and I swear I saw Jaden's car next to mine but I don't care this is fucking bullshit

When I got in my car I drove to my dads penthouse but there was police cars and police tape surrounding the entrance

I stopped on the side of the road and got out, luckily I knew one of the police officers

"Hey Alex what's going on" I asked him

"Josh you can't be here you have to go" he said

"What why?"

"It's not safe please go it's for your own good"

"You know I don't like people telling me what to do"

"I know but this time you have to listen ok please trust me"

"Ok I will"

"Thank you"

I gave him a hug and went back in my car

Nessa's POV

We tried to figure out different ways to get in but then Jaden found out something else

"Guys look Josh is leaving"

We all ran to the window and saw Josh leaving

"Jaden we need to take your car now"

"Are you sure maybe we should wait" Mads said

"No we need to go now come on"

We got in his car and followed Josh, it looked like he was going the his dad's apartment and he was, but we stopped right around the corner so that he wouldn't notice us, he got out his car and started talking to one of the police officers, he looked so worried but after a few minutes he got back in his car, Jaden started going again and we followed him for about 45 minutes until we got to some condo in New Jersey

"Ok guys I think this is good" I said

"What do you mean we're staying" Jaden said

"Yeah we need to be here" Mads added

"Please guys I'll call you if anything goes wrong"

"Are you sure" Jaden asked

"Yes I'm sure"

"Ok well bye good luck" Mads said

I got my bags out the trunk and they left, I walked to the entrance, tears were already forming in my eyes, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door
