*The Next Day*
Nessa's POV
I FaceTimed Mads so that we can pack together
"Hey girl, you excited?" She said on the FaceTime
"Yeah, I really hope that we can find her" I said back
"Same, you don't think that your dad might've gave us the wrong description?"
"Probably not he cares a lot about me and would help me with anything I need"
"Good, so what are you gonna tell Josh"
"Speaking of, he's texting me right now"

Sorry I can't I'm going to see my dad with Mads for a few days
Josh
Oh, can I come too?
Nessa
No sorry we don't have enough time, it was kinda last minute. But I promise I'll be back before Christmas

Ugh, I feel so bad for lying
"What did you tell him?" Mads asked
"I had to tell him that we're going to see my dad, and you should probably tell Jaden that too"
"Ok I will"
Josh's POV
Nessa's going to see her dad with Mads? I don't understand why it's so last minute and why I can't come. Is she tired of me? Will the promise rings be too much?
Nessa's POV
"I'm all done"
"Great, I'm coming to your house right now and then we can take an Uber to that airport" she said
"Ok bye"
I hung up and put my suitcase next to the front door. About five minutes later Mads rang the doorbell
"Hey Ness, did you call the Uber?"
"Yeah it's 2 minutes away"
"Ok"
Once the Uber got here we put our bags in the trunk and got in. When we got to the airport we did everything we needed to do and then boarded the plane
"You excited" Mads asked me
"Yeah" I said not very enthusiastically
"Hey what's the matter"
"I just feel so bad for lying to Josh, he wanted to hang out today"
"Don't be, once this is all over he'll know that it was for a good cause"
"I guess so, Operation 'Bring Josh's Mom Home' starts now"
"No, it starts right after I take this nap" she said grabbing he blanket and drifted off to sleep
