Josh's POV

"Josh?"

I opened the door to see Nessa standing in the doorway trying to hold back her tears

"Nessa how did you find me?"

"That doesn't matter, I need to tell you something"

"I don't wanna hear it"

"Josh please"

More tears came down her face

"What is it?"

"Your dad killed my dad"

I froze when she said those five words

"W-What"

"Your dad blamed me for you running away so him and my dad started arguing and that lead to your dad shooting him"

"You saw it happen"

"Y-Yeah kinda of"

I can't believe what I was hearing, this is why Alex wanted me to leave and this wasn't Nessa's fault it was mine. I could've just talked to her, but I didn't. And the worst part is that she was there and still decided to keep looking or me while mourning. And here I was, drinking my problems away. She started sobbing and I held her in my arms

"Nessa I am so so sorry" I said crying

"Yeah you should be"

She let go of me

"You ran away just because Jaden and I didn't see how controlling your mom was being and yeah I now know that bringing her here was a terrible thing to do, but you could've just talked to me! I thought you were dead!"

"Nessa I said I'm sorry"

"You think saying sorry will bring back my dad and take away all the pain I felt when I didn't know where you were!"

"So you came all this way just to yell at me!"

"Yeah, I also wanted to see if your ok, looks like I got my answer, goodbye"

"No you can't leave I'm not ok, I love you baby, I love you so much that I fucking left because I didn't want you see me so angry, you changed me, I used to be a really bad person but you took that all away, your the best thing that's ever happened to me and I will not let you walk away, your mine"

Nessa's POV

He grabbed my waist and pressed his lips against mine

"I'm still mad tho"

"And you have every right to be, I won't let you go through anything like that ever again, I'll keep you safe I promise"

I smiled at him and slapped him across the face

"Dang Nessa what the hell!"

"I just needed to blow of some steam"

"Your so annoying"

"Dont be rude my dad just died"

"Oh I'm sorry, and yes I know that doesn't bring him back I just want you to know that I care and that I'm hear for you"

"I have something else to tell you" she said

"What?"

"Mads and Jaden are here"

"They are?"

"Yeah but I told them to leave after they dropped me off here, I'm kinda mad at them"

"It there anything else I should know?"

I told him everything that happened while he was gone

"Wait wait hold up, my mom is your cheer coach?"

"Yes and I couldn't even spend 5 minutes in that room with here"

"My family is really messed up"

"Yeah it's hard to believe that your their son"

"I know right so what do we do now?"

"Well I had a very long day and I would love to take a shower and spend night here"

"Fine by me"

After I took a shower we cuddled in his bed for the rest of the night
