Nessa's POV

When we got back to my house, I changed and went to sleep with Josh

Josh's POV

I woke up to boss calling me on the phone, but luckily it didn't wake up Nessa, I took the phone and went down to the kitchen

Josh: Yes?

???: You think your slick huh?

Josh: What are you talking about?

???: You took her out to eat

Josh: How do you know that?

???: I have people working for me at that restaurant, like that waiter for instance

Josh: I'm sorry it's just-

???: No! Sorry won't work, I said to not catch feelings and you did the exact opposite. I swear if you break her heart I will do some unholy things to you. I expect better from you Josh, and I hope to see that from now on

Josh: Ok boss

And he hung up

I'm so dumb, how can I be with Nessa when I have this huge secret, she'll hate me. And so will boss

"Who were you talking to?"

I turned around to see Nessa looking at me

"Um Jaden" I lied

"You call Jaden boss?" she giggled getting a drink from her fridge

"Yeah it's just something we say to each other" I said nervously

"Uh ok"

Nessa's POV

Josh is acting just like when we first met. I want to question him about but I don't want whatever's going on to jeopardize our relationship, we just started dating

"So, do you have cheer practice today?" He asked changing the subject

"Yeah I have it every day"

"Ok tell me when your ready for school I'll be upstairs getting ready" he said

"Ok I will"

*Time Skip To At School*

During school today I was kinda trying to avoid Josh, it's just that every time I saw his face it made me think about all the secrets he's keeping from me, Even during lunch I sat with the cheer team. I do know that I have to confront him at some point, but I'm just not ready. After cheer practice I was even telling Mads about it

"You have to talk to him, keeping your feelings all bottled up inside you will only make it worse" Mads told me

"I just wish it wasn't so hard" I groaned

"It's ok you got this, anyways I'll be hanging out with Jaden tonight"

"Ooh, you and Jaden have been getting pretty close lately" I said trying to makes things better

"I know, he even looked super jealous when I was telling him about how I'll be cheering for the football players at their game Friday"

"Aww, he doesn't want other guys looking at you, that's so cute"

"Yeah, it really is. Now stop trying to change the subject and go talk to Josh"

"Ugh, ok he's picking me up anyways"

"Good, bye bestie"

"Byee" I said back and walked to the parking lot and got in Josh's car

"Hey babe, how was practice?"

"It's was good I learned all the cheers/dance we need to do for the game"

"Awesome, your gonna do so good" he said while driving

"Uh Josh"

"Yeah"

"I need to talk to you about something when we get back home"

"Ok"

Josh's POV

I think Nessa's gonna ask about my call this morning, she was even avoiding me today, it wasn't hard to tell, I can't tell her the truth though, but I think she'll know if I'm lying
