between kris and her daughters

Lulu and Zahia were laying on Lulu's bed, talking about what was happening with the people they were currently having a little fling with. It felt good for them both to spend some time together.

"So... you don't know what you guys are?" Zahia asked.

Lulu scrunched her nose, "We didn't really talk about it. And I don't think we wanna rush it or anything."

Zahia scoffed, "A bit too late for that."

"What do you mean?"

"Uh, well... you guys already had sex, right?"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

Zahia rolled her eyes, "You're stupid, you know that?"

"I've had sex with a lot of people, doesn't mean I wanted more than that?!"

"Except you and Fez are like super close friends," Zahia said, "And you don't just wanna fuck him, am I right?"

"I-I don't know what I want, okay?" Lulu sighed, "This whole thing is... new, I don't wanna expect something and then be disappointed, you know?"

"Yeah, I get it," Zahia replied, "But I think you'll have to talk about it at some point. Like... would you like him hooking up with other girls?"

Lulu shook her head, "Well... I mean, he's free to do whatever... we're—"

"I didn't ask that," Zahia interrupted, "Would you be okay with it? That's my question."

Lulu recalled how she felt hurt when she thought something was happening between Fezco and Milla, "No... I don't think..."

Zahia rubbed her sister's arm as she could tell she was getting a little upset and the sound of the front door being slammed caught them both off guard, making them stand up in the blink of an eye. They exchanged a fearful glance and opened the bedroom door to notice their mother in the hallway.

Zahia was the first to walk towards her, "Hey mom."

Kris let out a long breath, "Hey. How is it going?"

Lulu lifted her eyebrows, feeling unsettled and upset by this fake chill act her mother was pulling out shamelessly. Lulu was quick to stand near her, breathing slowly. She knew they wouldn't get anything out of her if they were aggressive.

"Hey mom," Lulu said, "Well... I think you're the one who should answer that question, right?"

Kris rolled her eyes, pouring herself a glass of water in the kitchen, "Please, Lulu, I really don't wanna get into an argument right now."

Lulu scoffed, "Okay, so when? I mean, excuse me for wondering what the fuck you do I don't know where every single day!"

Lulu mentally slapped herself for her small outburst, unable to contain herself.
