Chapter 18

Y/N POV

"Soobin don't let go of my hand!" I manage to say as the wind blew harshly at us. I didn't understand where the wind was coming from. As I felt his hand grip tightly with mine I can feel his hand turn as if I was griping on branches to flesh. I knew from that point on that Soobin was changing into something else because of the time zone here. It was cold and it felt there was no other life here other than us then I knew we were crossing through two worlds. Suddenly lightning struck hitting trees and sections of the forest there were spots of rain. As the wind brushed my hair back I can see from the corner of my eye a tall slim monster that was Soobin in his natural form. Then suddenly his voice spoke in melody to remind me he was still himself and he was with me. 

"I won't let go I promise," I shout as we keep walking. It was like different elements were being possessed around the forest. I felt as if I was going in circles feeling dizzy I dropped to my knees losing my grip on fire to give us light. I closed my eyes willing to let go and seal my fate when suddenly the wind stopped in front of me. As I opened my eyes I saw a thick branch block the wind for me. Getting the courage I turn to see Soobin, I realized he wasn't the monster in my dream. He was formed as a tree with no face. 

"Are you still with me Soobin?" I said getting closer to him. Still listening to his humming it was a constant reminder he was here and wouldn't let go. 

GO... NORTH... FOLLOW THE STAR...

All around the wind spoke in whispers as if it was speaking my name. I cover my ears and lay next to soobin. His branches bend forward enough to cover me from the wind. 

"I don't know what to do I'm scared," I say stuttering my words. 

"Please set us free..." I hear Soobin say to the whispers.

"Don't trust them Soobin!" I yelled so scaredly I couldn't move. As the air became colder I started to move slower.

Hueningkai POV

I woke up inside a bright forest and see my friends still with me. Nearby I can sense Y/N and that guy. I realized I was the only one that woke up and before I can move I had to wait for them to return to me. Suddenly Beomgyu gasped loudly as the others woke up with him and sat up with me.

"Everyone okay?" I asked taking deep breaths because I couldn't tell if the movements I made affected the real world. 

"Guys we need to hurry I am causing a big mess back home or someone is I can't tell and here I'm worried for Y/N I can feel she is breathing badly and she is the one causing the destruction," I said standing up. As we all stood up the other side was light and airy. I grab Taehyuns hand because I realized he was floating away. 

"Thanks. I forgot it can do that here we haven't Astro projected since 1st-year," He said holding my hand. 

"We all need to hold hands in order to get through to Y/N," I said taking Beomgyu's hand as he took Yeonjuns hand.

"Where are we?" Yeonjun asked as we all looked around and only saw a very tall tree and a lake, it looked like a dream here. 

"This is where our element was born I sense they went this way they are almost home," I said guiding my friends. I walk past through these branches and vines.

"Ouch, what the hell?" Beomgyu said I turned and see he got caught in a branch and got cut on his face.

"Wait we can feel pain here?" Yeonjun said. I gathered the strength and realized I had to be the protection for my friends because I was the Wind element.

"Guys please focus its okay just follow me and be careful," I said as I followed Y/N energy. I can see on the other side it was like if it was out of order. Using another wind spell I make the wind stop for a moment and just like that everything became quiet. Then suddenly I can hear a melody such a melody that made me burst into tears. 

I can see even if you're not by my side...

I can feel you even if you don't say a word...

Because I believe in you even if I'm anxious...

"Can you hear that?" I shout at the others because it was starting to get loud.

"No what is it?" They all said.

"I heard this song before. I know where they both are watch your step." I shout as we step over a couple of branches and were in front of a meadow. 

Memories of childhood dancing in the sky...

Even if it's fading away now...

I wish we would stay in my dreams clearly...

I can feel my tears fall down my face as my heart aches to hear a voice so beautiful that it reminded me of good memories. As we walk through the meadow the light in the sky started to fade and as I step forward my feet become heavy. 

"Guys we are almost there," I said as I cried. I knew I wasn't gonna let go because if I did I would lose my friends forever. 

"We are okay keep going!" Taehyun said. I wanted to turn to see if they were okay but I knew I couldn't. Then I saw a light ahead. 

"I see something..." I said suddenly the wind came back becoming strong. As we rushed to the light I saw inside what to be a tree that had a light hidden inside. I knew it was Y/N and our nature element protecting her. I also realized it was Y/N causing all this destruction her true self started to show with all elements.

"Please set us free..." The tall tree said to us. 

"Please don't trust them Soobin..." I hear Y/N say inside the tree. 

"Soobin Go north and you will be free..." I screamed as I tried to calm the wind-down but I realized what time was doing it was freezing. I can see as Soobin moves his branches and see Y/N laying on the grown almost frozen.

"Guys we need to move close and yell in order for them to move out north!" I tell my friends. 

"Okay, we got it!" I hear Beomgyu yell. Turning back I can see Yeonjun was doing his part trying to make the forest calm down as well but Y/N was too powerful for all of us. As we move closer I can see Soobin branches broke and he turned back to his human self, us coming closer was working. 

GO... NORTH... FOLLOW THE STAR...

Y/N POV

As Soobin moved his branches I can hear them crack, I gathered the strength to see if he was okay. As his branches were broken I can see Soobin laying on the ground in his human form. 

"Yes, I'm okay we need to go north and follow the star!" He shouted as the wind blew around us. Suddenly a tall monster came towards us.

"Ahh!!! What is that!?" I screamed seeing a tall monster with blue and green eyes that looked to be changing different forms? I manage to stand up with Soobin and looked around us for a way out.

Hueningkai POV

"Ahh!!! What is that!?" Y/N screams as we got closer to her.

"She can't see us why is she so scared of us?" Beomgyu yelled.

"We have merged together guys that's why it makes sense we projected all at once into an animal a monster. It was your vision of safety Hueningkai but in this world it's scary. We have no choice but to scare them to the north pathway to follow the star above to make it work again!" Taehyun yell missing a branch that was flying at us.  We all knew what we needed to do.

"You can see the star?! Can you hear the music?!" I shouted at Taehyun. 

"Yes, I can hear it." He said also crying. Yeonjun and Beomgyu couldn't see the star suddenly they also burst into tears once they heard the melody.

"GO... NORTH... FOLLOW THE STAR..." We all shouted on repeat fighting the wind to guide Y/N and Soobin.
