Chapter 44

Y/n pov

I walk inside the void and seeing behind me the door automatically shuts. Stepping forward as my steps were the only sound inside. It was so quiet I can hear my heartbeat. I kept walking in the same direction being drawn to something in the distance that hasn't exposed itself yet. Suddenly in front of me was... Well me. Coming up to the shining light ahead was a light from above that was shining from somewhere. Bended down to get a closer look at what is to be a memory. I reach to touch my own face that was in front of me. Eyes suddenly wide open as if I unlocked my path and fell backward as a rush of memories came back. I learned I was actually a student here and so were my parents and my friends. My parents knew my friend's parents and everyone favored Rin. I also learned how I was up against Rin in a sixth elemental battle and it turned ugly because she couldn't use me anymore as I got older. So she Locked away my memory and everyone else's in this room and sent me away.  I got up as I rub my head remembering everything and suddenly the memory that was in front of me the vines that gripped her suddenly became loose as she stood up and leaped inside my body making me feel whole again. The lights started to appear more when I realize this place was a prison of the covens memories of the bad parts people knew about Rin. As I was ready to let everyone set free I sense my clone was about to perform the exam. I have to hurry I thought. As I use all my power to rip these chains I felt a sudden weakness because my friends have stopped singing and I have walked so far in this void I don't know the direction out...

Soobin POV 

We finished our performance and everyone loved it, it was fun and we even got to distract the audience a little long but we knew we had to perform our exam evaluation. 

"Okay thank you yearly performers for that lovely performance with such talent. Now it is time for new year students to take the exam Y/N you are up first." Rin said as she sat back down in the middle row with the other coven council. As we stepped off the stage and let the clone come up to do the exam. I felt Y/N was running out of time in the door. I felt nervous as the clone stood there and waited for Rin to begin the 10-minute mark. 

"Okay I'm ready," the clone said smiling. I looked at the others and felt a rush of fear. 

"Okay, your 10 minute more starts now show yourself thy fire element!!" Rin said as the clone put her arms up exposing Y/N's tattoo. Suddenly RIn stands up and I can feel she is ready to drain Y/N magic once she exposes herself.

"Guys the crowd!" Taehyun said as he points realizing everyone is seeing Y/N clone showing her true self. Suddenly I walked on stage and began to sing a song that I knew Y/N would come back to. 

I can see even if you're not by my side

I can feel you even if you don't say a word

Because I believe in you even if I'm anxious

As I continued singing my friends started to join me.

Y/N POV 

Feeling a tug and pull from the void I suddenly heard a familiar song that brought me warmth. 

I can touch even if you're not in my sight
I reach even if you go far away from me
Even if it's just in your memories,
my hearts is always dancing, just like before

Letting the words sink into me I started to feel this brightness inside me that made the trap these memories were into everyone became free...

I want to be your nap so I can dream with you no 
matter when As if nothing had happened 
On a sunset evening, even in the night when the sky is dark

My heart is full of you...

Soobin POV

I'm afraid of the dark silence that doesn't answer
when I call out to you in the night sky
Maybe we should forget it now
The moments that felt like magic and
 the night sky I walked with you
They might just disappear like dreams

As we sang our song a mist grew in the auditorium as everyone's memories started to go back into them making everyone remember everything. While this happened I notice Rin tried to use any magic to stop it be she wasn't powerful anymore. 

You come closer to me in my dreams and you said to me
That you missed me a lot
To the me who was crying so much, don't worry (don't worry)
You said quietly I want to be your nap so I can dream with you no matter when

As if nothing had happened
The moments that felt like magic and brilliant night sky
They're on my mind.

As I finished the song I can see everyone was exiting and Rin was aging rapidly as everyone's memory she took started taking any strength she had left. Once it was done and she was dead my friends and I looked around the stage. 

"Look the clone?!" Hueningkai said catching it as it turned back into a plain doll. Everyone looked at us as we were frantic that Y/N hasn't came back yet and everyone was waiting for her. 

"I have to go find her!" I said as I got up but was being pulled back by my friends. 

"Soobin even if you do you might never find her it's the void," Jisoo said suddenly Yeonjun realizie3d she was back to her dorky nerdy-looking self. 

"Wait so Jisoo was a victim too?" He said confused. I rip out my friend's grasp as I cast a spell opening the auditorium doors so everyone can scatter enough for me to escape so I can go find Y/N.
