Chapter 31

Yeonjun POV

As we sat in Hueningkai's and my room, I'm pretty sure one of us in the room got new abilities and someone else is causing trouble. We all sat in the middle of the room and ate. I notice we made the right choice to stay in the dorm it started to rain heavily outside. Y/N got up casting a spell to lit all the candles in the room and block out anyone from the outside that happen to be listening.

"So who has new abilities that cause Tae to get hurt?" I said waiting for a response. I studied everyone's face.

"It was me," Hueningkai said I was surprised we were doing too good not causing a scene and now the streak was broken.

"Well, I knew our good streak wasn't going to last," Taehyun said kidding. I can tell Soobin was a bit bothered.

"It was actually me I'm sorry guys I couldn't control myself, he was trying-" Soobin tried to say but suddenly Hueningkai stopped him.

"-He was trying to get in all of our heads so I saw Soobin push him out," Kai said. I felt there was a secret and I needed to know I will find out later I thought. 

"Okay, guys we need a song for the festival," Y/N said changing the subject. 

"What about a Korean song since our name of the group is in Korean?" Kai said suggesting. We all nod liking the idea. 

"What about playing the lyrics and melody Soobin created, it can get everyone in a trance enough for Y/N to finish the plan," Beomgyu said finishing his soup. I can tell Y/N didn't like that idea at all.

"What no." She said automatically.

"Why not?" I asked curiously. She paused for a moment. 

"Because it's in English." She said as she got up to make coffee trying to ignore it.

"Well, we can translate it to Korean and change a couple of things," Taehyun said giving her his cup to fill it. 

"Guys even if you wanted to only I can sing it. Plus that song was meant for... Y/N..." Soobin said acting as if he wasn't interested but I knew he still was. After we help Y/N and Soobin that day the song stopped playing. I'm pretty sure he still plays it for her. 

"Well, Yeonjun your the creative one here write us a song and we can help with it," Y/N said changing the subject ignoring what Soobin said. It started to feel awkward so I let it go and nod agree I writing something up for the festival. 

"Okay but you have to do the routine and costumes," I said moving out bowls and opening the door to take our dishes to the small kitchen the male dorm dining area had. After finishing our dishes when I came back to my room I can see Y/N and Soobin looking at my bookshelf. While Kai and Taehyun started to play with the game console I notice Beomgyu was falling asleep on my bed. It was unusual because Beomgyu never misses a chance to play video games.

"Bro are okay?" I asked Beomgyu ask I sit next to him on the bed. 

"Yeah I just got tired that's all." He said trying to play with my hair being silly. I laugh and brush him off. I sat at my desk as I put on my headphones and let the rain outside my window inspire me with this song. As the sky was dark it reminded me how much I missed home and lately, it's been so dark and limited here. I think it is fun to perform a song that is upbeat and can make people happy.

"Blue Hour..." I said as I started writing something down on paper.

"What?" Y/N said as she got up from sitting next to Soobin and came next to the desk to observe. 

"I know we have other important things to focus on but I want to perform a happy song something to make everyone feel good," I said really passionately. 

"Maybe we can use that as an advantage," Soobin said across the room. 

"He's right maybe we can come up with a spell to distract everyone during the performance just enough for Y/N to get out of there," Beomgyu said waking up again.

"That be smart!" Taehyun said still distracted with kai. I was glad I got to do what I wanted and the others saw it as a good thing. 

"Blue hour," I said. I turn to see Y/N going back to sit next to Soobin. I can tell something was going on there. It felt like a secret that everyone knew but didn't want to say I thought. 

"Blue hour!" Everyone said. I laugh at how fun this was going to be but then I remembered why we were really doing this. As I started coming up with more ideas. It made me realize the day of the festival will be dangerous but fun. Everything will work out I thought. Hopefully.
