chapter 39

Soobin POV

 Suddenly everything became blurry as we all leaned forward towards the book everything turning... To a feeling of being swallowed by a rush of water. I opened my eyes realizing we all were in water. It felt familiar and I noticed my friend around me looked different. I rushed to the surface and gasped for air as my friends followed. I looked around and see we were in a river and noticed Yeonjun had blue hair and Beomgyu was silver. I search for Y/N and see Taehun and Beomgyu were on land with her already and seemed to be in trouble. I rush to the grassland area that ended the lake. As I got out I can feel flower petals on my skin and I felt taller for some reason. 

"What's wrong?!" I said as I got on my knees to see what's wrong. I realized we were in what to be school uniforms except for Y/N she was wearing a black lace-up dress and her skin was pale. 

"What happened!" Yeonjun said in a soaked brown jacket with flower pedals on his face. 

"Is she breathing give her mouth to mouth maybe she drowned!" Beomgyu said looking around like if there was help. Suddenly everyone looked at me, I shook my head.

"I don't know how," I said scared I didn't want her to die but I didn't know what to do. As I push her chest and then plug her noise ready to give her CPR suddenly an older man rushed at us with a gun. We all backed up as I covered Y/N.

"Who are you how did you get here!?" The older man yelled at us to answer. I feel tears fall down my face.

"We came from the river stop pointing that at us and help our friend!" Yeonjun said yelling back at the older man. The older man went to his knees putting his gun down studying Y/N condition.

"Is she a fire element?" He asked us. 

"Yes," Taehyun said holding on to Hueningkai worried. 

"No, she is a sixth elemental!" I added picking her up so she can sit up. The man stayed quiet again as if he was thinking of what to do. 

"Pick her up and bring her to my home my wife will know what to do but we need to hurry she might have a chance if she is really a sixth elemental," He said. We didn't have a choice so Yeonjun helps me pick Y/N up and as I had her in my arms we all rushed hoping this man was right. As we walked through many trees that were different colors and making sure Y/N wasn't harmed we came across this old school that Y/N and I've seen before. 

"This way hurry!" The man said we followed inside. 

"Aye, we have company!" The man shouted and gesturing me to put her down on this empty table. Suddenly a shorter woman came in and was shocked to see us. 

"What the how is this possible no student survived?" The woman said.

"They're not students from here they came from the river, please tell me what to do to her this girl they claim she is a sixth elemental," He said to her giving her a look as if they know something. 

"Okay hurry up we cant lose our friend here!" Hueningkai said as his tears fell down. 

"In this world, you have to give magic to the sixth elemental, so everyone goes around the table and touches her arms and legs." The woman said. We did and I ended touching Y/N head as we covered her body. 

"Okay cast the spell?!" Taehyun said as if he couldn't breathing. 

"There is no spell its weather if her body accepts the energy," She said.

"She will come on just focused now!" I said as we all became quiet as we all closed our eyes and I kept thinking about how much I was willing to do anything for Y/N. For a moment I felt she was really gone and my heart started to hurt badly and as the pain grew deeper and deeper suddenly a gasped came from her mouth as she shot up sitting up at the table gasping for air. We all felt relieved she was still alive. Her warmth circled around the room making her energy strong again.
