Chapter 28

Y/N POV

As class began Soobin and Beomgyu barely made it to class, I smile as Soobin sits next to me and Beomgyu sits next to Taehyun in the back. I notice He changed his hair and decided to wear beige colors. I thought he looked very handsome, I knew everyone thought that everyone had a loud mind when it came to Soobin. I just wish I can read his mind sometimes. I notice Tae was still sitting next to Jisoo even though everyone knows they broke up. The teacher starts talking I don't know how Jisoo does it. How can she act so calm and normal knowing she isn't with her boyfriend, they looked so in love. I shake my head at myself as if I even dated Soobin I thought.

"Stop wandering off and focus," Soobin whispered jokingly and I snapped out of my thoughts. I look at him nodding my head embarrassed because he noticed I did that. He always noticed.

"Okay class the semester is almost over and it's time for the big exam." The professor said. The class started to groan jokingly with her. We all knew she hated that and if she could she would give us all detention. However, we were on a good streak my friends and I haven't got detention. Mainly because Professors Jin's wife is having a baby so he's home with her and because no one wants to deal with us. But hey! We are doing pretty good controlling our outbursts and such.

"Anyways now class the test isn't like any other, you will be performing your exam in front of the coven leaders and the deans. It's a big transition showing if you need help still or if you can move to the next stage with your magic." She said as she walked around the classroom. I can feel myself get stressed this was a big deal. But then it made me wonder what is the whole council is up to this secret Rin is hiding.

"It's only one task but it's something that is valuable to the person itself. You only have to do it once and everyone has done it in our coven. You have to cast a spell and expose your inner soul. It can be the sad part or yourself, the greatest part, or just you. You only get a 10-minute mark. If you can't show you can manifest your inner self. You will get an F. It's a Pass or Fail. Today for the class you can leave early to practice with your element group!" She said and just like that everyone started packing up.

"Remember to practice people!" The professor said as she went to sit at her desk. I felt a bit annoyed we were left to figure this out but I get it we had to show if we are capable of doing it with our elements. As I walk out of class with Soobin, Taehyun and Beomgyu were waiting for us. 

"This is weird right?" I said as we started walking to the detention room. Even though we didn't have it, it was a free room to hang out in. It was filled with professor Jins books and when usually around this time on Monday it's empty in the hallways.

"Not really they usually do this towards the end of the year semester festival. It shows how hard the professors worked on us and how creative we can get." Beomgyu said as he opened the door. 

"Did you know Jungkook had to retake the exam three times for three semesters his first time coming here," Taehyun said as we walked into the class and sat our usual spots waiting for Yeonjun and Hueningkai? 

"Really wow then it must be hard," I said sitting next to Soobin. 

"Yeah right you have an advantage you are gonna get it," Soobin said teasing me. I pout and hit his arm. 

"He's right maybe your advantage can be a risk," Taehyun said. I realized he was right if I were to show my "inner soul" who knows what will show. 

"Well shit this is unfortunate," I said sighing. Suddenly a Yeonjun came on and Kai. 

"Wow look at you Soobin!" Yeonjun said dramatically checking him out and liking his hair color. Soobin smiled and had a bromance moment with him. Hueningkai came up to me to give me a hug like always.
