Chapter 33

Soobin POV

"That is brutal..." Hueningkai said as the others sit around the table. Today was Wednesday and we were sitting outside the dance room waiting for Y/N to get out of class. I told them what happened the day Y/N and I were alone. I ruined it, I should have told her how I felt and I felt like she was going to ask why I was being so weird so I tried to ignore it but then she ignored it. 

"I knew you still liked Y/N, who wouldn't like her," Yeonjun said being honest. Taehyun laughed shaking his head at Yeonjun being himself. 

"Why don't you just tell her?" Beomgyu said as he drank his apple juice. I was surprised he wasn't drinking any coffee this morning. 

"I can't I lied to her and girls don't like liars! I already ruined it on Friday," I said leaning my head on my hand as I slouched on the table.

"She will forgive you," Hueningkai said smiling. I can tell Yeonjun was trying to study Kai and I knew Kai was hiding something. 

"What do you know?" Taehyun said breaking the silence.

"Nothing... Hey, look Y/N hey over here." Huneingkai said ignoring us and getting up to go to her. We all followed him and greeted her as well.

"Hi, guys ready to hear the song?!" Y/N said as we followed her into the dance room. I have never danced before so this is going to be interesting. As we left Y/N real quick to the boy locker room putting our bags away. I notice Tae was with his friends and getting their bags. Great I really don't want this right now I knew if they see Y/N they're gonna talk to her I thought. 

"Then hurry up and beat them to it," Hueningkai said next to me. I roll my eyes and hurry up to catch up with Y/N. Once I left the boy's locker room and headed inside the dance room, I was already too late. I can see Tae talking to her. I hid behind the wall entrance. 

"Hey what are you doing here?" I hear Tae ask her. 

"Oh, I'm with my friends helping them with their performance for the festival. We are going after you guys, where is Jisoo isn't she performing with you guys?" Y/N said to him. 

"Yes she already left but I forgot you guys are after us, it's going to be really fun we have a surprise for the whole school. Our theme is fallen angels its kinda cheesy but it will fit our song." He said sounding upbeat and happy.

"That's cool," She said to him. 

"Well hey, do you maybe want to hang out on Saturday?" I hear Tae ask her and before Y/N can answer I walk in quickly. God, I felt like a weirdo I thought. 

"Hey guys," I said breaking the convo.  

"Hey Soobin," Tae said giving me a glare. I smile as I sat and started to stretch. 

"Well Y/N I'll talk to you later." He said waving goodbye to us. With Y/N forgetting what Tae asked her I felt really good I stopped that. But it made me realize if I don't tell Y/N soon she will find someone else. Suddenly the others came in and I can see Hueningkai laughing at me. I got up to hit him I was so annoyed he was eavesdropping on me! Again!

"Okay stop it, children, I'm going to play the music and Yeonjun see if it fits well?" Y/N said connecting her phone to the speaker. We all sat around and listen. I smile because you can hear Y/N in the beginning. 

"I was thinking, in the beginning, you guys can say a blue hour and then start with the first verse," Y/N said, we all started to vibe with the music and beat. 

"Wow this is going to fit perfectly I really like it, it's really upbeat and has a disco vibe," Yeonjun said as he stood up and started to freestyle. I started to feel embarrassed and started to laugh. 

"Okay, I have color-coded who can sing what I already know the others can sing and we know Soobin can," Yeonjun added as he gave everyone a paper of the lyrics. I saw I was going to be the first one to sing.

"Also, I added hidden messages in the music so the crowd can be subliminally into the song and they will be really distracted even you know who, it will only work when I  cast the spell so don't worry. The school will be hypnotized," Y/N said fixing the speaker so only we can hear the music in the room.

"Why am I first?" I whined once I saw my name first. I watched Y/N as she sat next to me. 

"Because you are new to the group," Y/N said teasing me.

"It's because your voice would sound good for this part. Hueningkai will be singing most of the chorus." Taehyun said looking at the lyrics. Y/N leaned over Yeonjun to see the lyrics. I went closer to her and she decided to look at my paper. 

"It's in Korean can someone-" Y/N tried to ask.

"I hate this awkwardness I just laugh. Baby I know we were special. One of a kind special." Beomgyu said got up suddenly singing the lyrics.  

"That look in your eyes like a gift box that's been emptied. You and me in the setting sun." Yeonjun said joining him.

"Yeah yeah I can," Hueningkai said as they got in a line and started moving their hips. I laughed with Y/N. I looked at the lyrics and was surprised at how romantic they were.

"Damn who are they really about?" I said Teasing Yeonjun, soon after the others started to tease him too. 

"It's about you," Yeonjun said pointing at Y/N, I didn't know if he was serious. I knew he flirts with Y/N but I didn't like it. I roll my eyes and hope she wasn't into it. She wasn't all she did was shake her head at Yeonjuns words and tried to cast a spell to turn the words to English on my paper. I took my paper and brushed my fingers through it turn it into English. 

"Thank you." She said taking it back. 

"Guys this is gonna be so good!" Y/N said excitedly. As we practiced our parts I watched Y/N come up with some kind of routine and even used the hip move Yeonjun came up with.

"Come on Soobin you are in front!" Beomgyu said gesturing me to stand next to me. I nod going to them.
