Peter's POV
I wake up to an empty space beside me, and my heart stops as I frantically call for y/n and search throughout the whole room.

When I can't find her, I rush out and down the halls towards the kitchen. I don't see her, and I start to panic as I go to the living room, yelling out her name when she isn't there either.

I pull out my phone with shaking hands and press on her contact name, holding the phone to my ear.

When there's no answer I call again, and again, and again.

I finally grow frustrated and throw my phone across the room. It hits the wall opposite me and it smashes to pieces, the glass shattering and falling to the floor.

"Woah kid calm down."

A large hand is placed on my shoulder and I snap my head up to be met with soft blue eyes.

"How the hell am I supposed to call down when y/n isn't anywhere to be seen, and she isn't answering her god damned phone?!"

I rip away from him, pacing around the room while I keep my eyes on the ground, stuck in thought.

Maybe she left me. Maybe she's hurt. Maybe she's been taken just like Mishka.

"Peter calm down."

"I can't loose her too." My voice breaks as I look back to the kind blue eyes with my own tear filled ones.

He pulls me in for a hug and I cling to him while tears slip down my cheeks and onto his shirt.

"Your not going to loose her. Your not going to loose Mishka either. We're going to find them okay?"

————

"We tracked her phone and picked up a signal. She's heading back to Canada. And fast. If we don't leave now we won't catch up to her in time and they could both get hurt."

I try and control my breathing as I listen to dad and the others talk on and on when we could have already saved them by now.

Before I knew it everyone was filing out of the room. I look up and start to follow with quick feet, only to be stopped when I'm half ways through the door.

"Peter it's too dangerous your staying here with Pepper." Dads voice was serious and stern.

"No. I'm going. I'm not just going to sit back and watch when they could get hurt!! When you could get hurt! I don't care if it's dangerous, because my daughter and girlfriend are the ones in danger, and if we don't leave soon they'll be dead if they already aren't!"

He opens his mouth about to argue but I give him a hard glare before pushing past him, and rushing to my room to get my suit.

Y/N's POV
My paws pad heavily on the damp floor of the forest, crunching leaves and twigs with each step.

I pant as I push myself to keep running, having been for the last few hours in order to reach Mishka.

I was growing tired but I couldn't stop. I had to keep going. I feel myself start to slow down, and I let out a snarl and shake my head, speeding up through the dense trees.

With my size, I still manage to gracefully run through all the branches and bushes without any troubles.

I see the old and crumpled base that send shivers down my spine from all the memories that flash through my mind in less than a second.

My head spins and my vision blurs, but I push through it and keep running, panting heavily as I fight to keep going.

I stop and crouch behind a large bush, hiding from the eyes of the guards that are positioned strategically around the base.

It'll do me no good if I don't have any energy. I carefully back up and sneak away, following the sound of rushing water.

After a minute I come across a narrow stream, and I hurriedly start to gulp down the water, keeping my ears alert for any danger.

I bring my head back up and swipe my tongue over my sharp teeth and wet nose, slowly making my way back to my previous position.

My eyes dart back and forth, making up many different plans inside my head. I couldn't just burst into there without a plan, and risk getting myself, or Mishka killed.

The sun slowly started to set, and I smirk to myself, my teeth pocking out of my mouth as a low snarl formed from the back of my throat.

I let my feet soundlessly move on the grassy ground, keeping my head low and almost crawling towards the entrance.

Once close enough, I jump to the side of the base and glue myself to the side, staying hidden in the shadows of the night.

I keep my body low and my tail in between my legs so as to be less visible. I move my gaze down to the ground where lay many stones and pebbles.

I carefully lift my paw up and place it behind one of the larger rocks, and I lift it up easily, launching it back towards the trees.

A loud crack is heard as it hits a tree trunk after going through the canopy of leaves, and a few more crunches as it hits the ground with a quiet thump ending it off.

The guards all slowly advance, and while their backs are turned, I swipe my paw at the closest one, his ID card latching onto my claw.

I move back into the shadows and move to the door, using my mouth to scan the card. The doors open quietly, not making any sound at all, and I slip inside, immediately shrinking myself to a smaller sized wolf.

I would change back when I needed to, but right now I needed to find my daughter without being caught and alarming everyone that I was here.
