Chapter Nine: Assigned into Teams

Samika's P.O.V

Everyone was deathly silent after Kat's proclamation. Suddenly the room erupted into laughter, even Nii-San and Leader were chuckling!!! I laughed, forming tears in my eyes at the sight of Kat's straight face and Hidan's fuming one. I was laughing so hard that I didn't even realize that Deidara had fallen back and was leaning on my shoulder, his face turning a shade of blue from

the lack of oxygen he was getting from laughing also.

After everyone had calmed down and Hidan planted himself in Kat's old spot on the love seat. Kat didn't take to kindly to that and tried to squeeze herself between the two only to be halfway in Hidan's and Kakashi's lap. She seemed preettyyyy pleased about that considering Hidan had his arm around her and Kakashi glaring daggers at Hidan.

I smirked and chuckled at the three of them only to feel a warm breath on my ear.

"Whatcha laughing at, hmm?"

I flinched, grabbing my ear and spinning my head around to see Deidara still leaning on my shoulder, inches from my face. I turned a bright shade of red only to receive a chuckle from Deidara.

"Haha!! Geez you blush too easily, un. It's cute. I think I'm gonna tease you mo-"

THWACK

"OW WHAT THE HELL, UN?!"

"Leave my sister alone. " Itachi glared daggers at Deidara, causing the blonde to glare back. "I don't have to, yeah. She might end up on my team, un. What are you gonna do then?" Deidara retorted back. I was pinned inbetween Deidara and Itachi so the oncoming blow I'd probably catch as well.

"I'll ki-"

"SILENCE!!!!!!!!!" Leader yelled, causing everyone to flinch. "We need to get on the subject on who will be training the new members. We need to know what their strong and weak points are."

We walked into this huge room probably the size of a football field. Leader looked at me and Kat and opened his arm to the room.

"Who will go first?"

I was shoved by Kat and I stumbled up to Leader. I turned and mumbled a string of curses to Kat, which she returned with a smirk and a peace sign. Oh lovely...

"Sam'ika," Leader spoke, placing a hand on my forehead. "I will look into the depths of your mind to find your strengths and weaknesses, considering you are not of this world. I warn you, this could be painful or dizzying. " I suddenly felt a jolt of pain shoot through me and I fell to my knees. Soon followed dizziness and I could see memories flashing before before my eyes. I could feel leader searching the depths of my mind. Suddenly it stopped and I looked up at leader with a cold sweat.

"You have quite a few abilities. The ones who will train you will be Deidara, Itachi, Kisame, Konan, and Kakashi. Deidara will train you on long distance attacks. You have a rare ocular jutsu like the sharningan so Itachi will help you in Genjutsu. Kisame will help you on swordmanship and ninjutsu. Konan will help you on medical ninjutsu. Since Kakashi is a hostage and a new possible member, so he will train you on summoning wolves and your taijutsu." Leader spoke, helping me up as Itachi picked me up and set me on his back. I leaned my face on his shoulder, soon later to pass out into the welcoming darkness.
