Chapter Twenty-Six: Worried Thoughts

Deidara's P.O.V

After band, I searched for Sam'ika. I looked around the room, trying to find her. I spotted her but my heart dropped to my stomach. Sam'ika was surrounded mostly by guys and one had an arm around her. I mentally growled and stormed my way over to where she was. I yanked the said guy off of Samika and pulled her close to me, wrapping both of my arms around her.

"Keep your arms off my Sam'ika, un. " I growled, earning looks from each guy surrounding her.

"Woah Blondie, Chill. I wasn't doing anything." A brunette stated.

Before I could say anything, Sam'ika and I was pulled away by Itachi.

"Deidara, cool your head. She was just speaking to a former colleague she graduated with. " Itachi spoke smoothly. I grunted and brushed past Itachi walking away, letting my feet take me. I heard Sam'ika call for me but I just ignored her. I just got her and I don't wanna lose her and I was gonna make sure she would always be mine.

Sam'ika's P.O.V

I watched as Deidara walked out of the building. I stood there, frozen to my spot and sighed, looking at the floor. Itachi pulled me into a hug and moved a strand of hair from my face.

"Don't worry about him Sam'ika. He just has to blow off some steam. Here, lets go back to the dorm." Itachi inquired.

"Thanks Nii-chan." I spoke, taking Itachi's hand and let him pull me along. I followed him in a daze, the feeling of guilt getting overwhelming. Itachi seemed to notice. He pulled me along into the dorm to my room. I sat down on my bed, pulling my knees up to my chest. Itachi sat beside me and pulled me close, rubbing small circles into my back. I started to get drowsy and slowly started to slip into a nightmare that would haunt me.

Itachi's P.O.V.

I watched as Sam'ika started to slip off into a slumber. I concluded I would stay with get until Deidara arrived again, not wanting to leave her alone. I myself started to get drowsy and I started to slip off into a slumber. It only felt like minutes when I heard a whimper. I opened my eyes and saw Sam'ika curled In a ball trembling and crying. I gently shook her trying to wake her.

Sam'ika's Dream State/P.O.V

I was fighting with Deidara. He was dead set that I was cheating on him. I tried countless times to tell him I was innocent, but to no prevail he continued to call me 'slut', 'cheater' and a 'whore'. I cried my eyes out when I felt a gentle shove.

"...Sam'ika...wake up...please don't cry..."

I slowly started to wake to see a worried Itachi hovering over me. I jolted up and wrapped my arms around Itachi, burying my face in the crook of his neck. He flinched in surprise and held me close.

I was now scared.

I had seen a side of Deidara I was scared to see.

I was petrified...

...that I was losing him...

That I was always going to be alone...
