I slowly opened my eyes to meet the harsh sunlight. I groaned and covered my face. My whole body was trembling in coldness. I reached over for a blanket, but instead felt someone's stomach.

"What the fuck?" I cursed. I uncovered my face and saw a sleeping Kacey next me. I gasped and took out my phone to check on the time.

It was only 9 am and my class started at 11. I looked over at everyone, who were scattered around the blanket, still asleep. The fire was barely lit and last night felt like a blur.

My head was killing me and I could barely walk without feeling like throwing up. I looked over next to Kacey and saw an unconscious Calum hugging her.

"Guys," I whispered to them.

I grabbed my jacket and smacked Kacey with it.

She groaned and pulled Calum's hand over her eyes.

"You all don't have any morning classes, right?" I asked them curiously.

Luke and Calum shook their heads.

I shot my eyes towards Kacey. "Don't you have morning classes?"

She yawned and got up to stretch. "I've got three more years ahead of me."

"Great, now you can spend the rest of the day with me." Calum smiled and pulled Kacey back down with him. I rolled my eyes and turned over to Luke, who was still a little sluggish.

"Well, I have to get to class," I said.

"Walk," Calum snapped.

"I'll drive you," Luke offered and held up the keys. "I'll be back to pick you guys up."

I got up from where I was sleeping and slipped my jacket on. I followed Luke to the car and got inside.

"Did we all happen to fall asleep last night?" I asked.

He chuckled at my question. "Actually, you were the first one. While Calum, Kacey, and I were playing soccer until 3 am."

"Crushing on your mate's girl," I impersonated a British accent.

"I'm Australian, not English," Luke corrected me. "And I'm not crushing on her. And she's not his girl because he has a girlfriend."

I scoffed. "So surprising." I picked up a CD that was laying on the dashboard. "What's this?"

Luke widened his eyes. "I don't think−"

I put in the disc and pressed play. I heard the beat of guitar and drums.

"What song is this?" I asked. "I've never heard of this band."

Luke cleared his throat and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "Because they aren't a band."

I listened to the singers closely and my lips formed a smile.

"This is you and Calum, isn't it!" I exclaimed. "You guys are really good."

Luke blushed and let out a short laugh. "Thank you. The song playing right now is called Too Late."

I nodded my head. "Who are the other two guys?"

"My friends Ashton and Michael," He answered. "I don't think you've seen Michael around, and you wouldn't be able to meet Ashton because he's in Australia."

I stayed silent for a little bit, just listening more to the song that was playing. "Why did you guys give up? You know, you could've−"

"Some things aren't meant to happen," Luke sighed. "We're here. You should get ready it's already 10:30 ."
