"Bring this one" 

"Absolutely not" I protest and take it from Alicia who was here with Hanna to help me pack before I leave tomorrow. 

"Why not? It's hot" Hanna says and takes the the very dark green satin dress from me. Alicia found it in the back of my closet. I got it for a party they took me to a little over 3 years ago. I was 15 then and we had to run from Alicia's mum, since we were underage drinking. 

"It's way too short" I say and take it from her too. "Besides, I won't have a use for it." 

"come on, Avery you're going on tour with The Rouge!" Alicia says and sits down on my bed next to Hanna. I shrug and take another shirt to fold it into one of my bags. I'm going to party while being away. I have school, and I'm not gonna go out alone. 

"I'm not gonna party, guys, I'm gonna be stuck in my hotel room" I say. Hanna and Alicia both look at each other before groaning and rolling their eyes. Hanna stands up and walks over to the closet. She takes the dress that I just put back off the hanger and folds it. She walks over to me. 

"You don't have to wear it, but bring it just in case you get the chance too wear it" She says before putting it in my bag. Fine. But the dress is probably way too short at this point so I wouldn't wear it even if I got the chance. 

"I can't believe you're gonna be around The Rouge for 5 months" Hanna says. "Michael is so jealous." Michael is her boyfriend. He's nice, but I've only met him a few times. 

"I'm not gonna be around the band that much, I don't even think I'm gonna be at the venues that much" I say as I put every piece of clothing that might actually still fit me in my bag. "Also, they'll probably be out partying and stuff when they're not performing, I won't see much of them" 

"I heard they're hot" Alicia says and takes a shirt out of my bag and holds it up in front of her. "You're bringing this?" She says with judgmental tone. I grasp it out of her hand and folds it neatly again. 

"I sleep in it"

"It has a big duck on it, Avery" She says. I fold it and neatly put it back in my bag. They start to giggle a bit. 

"And I heard that they're druggies pretty much" I say. Hanna shrugs a little.

"They're rock stars, so I wouldn't be surprised." she says. I won't be hanging out with the band. If I make friends with anyone It's gonna be someone on the crew. How many jackets do I bring? Do I have too many sweatpants? 

"You need to tell us everything that happens!" Hanna states. She seemed so excited. Alicia nodded in agreement. 

" Yeah, of course" I say. I definitely have too many sweatpants with me. I take two out of the bag and put them back in the closet. "It won't be much though."

 It was cold, it was early, I was tired and it was dark when dad locked the door to our flat. I had two big bags with me, and yesterday we had emptied the fridge and the freezer so that nothing would go bad. We went downstairs and the uber driver got out to put our bags in the trunk. 

"Wow you've packed a lot, going away for long I see" he said merrily. How was he so awake at this hour. It's literally 5 AM I should still be asleep. My dad made some joke while I got into the backseat of the black car. 

The plane would leave at 7 AM but we had to be there early so dad could make sure everything was going as planned. It was Friday so I would have a lot of school work to do tonight, if I didn't want to do them during the weekend. It would be something to do though.
