"Why are we doing this again?" Louis asks.

The sun was hot on my skin. I was in blue wide jeans and a white tank top with a white and grey flannel over it. My hair was braided to feel like I fit in a little here. We were walking slightly behind the others, Louis had his hands in the pockets of his black jeans while I walked with my arms crossed over my stomach.

"Because... it's fun." I say, squinting from the sun that was hitting my face.

"Doesn't seem fun to get on this 900 pound animal that could kill you if it felt like it." Louis mutters.

"I think you've done more life threatening things than ride a horse, buddy" I put my hand on his arm before I walk away from him and catch up with the others.

This morning, Sophie came to my room, which meant I had to hide Louis and all of his things in the bathroom before opening the door. She told me that we were all going horse riding, she had found a ranch and called there to ask if they could borrow horses to take out. Luckily they had some riding school horses that were good for beginners that we could take for a ride.

To get rid of her as soon as possible, I agreed. Me and my mum used to go horse riding all the time when I was younger, all up until she passed. I might be a little rusty but it can't be that hard to get back into it. Sophie had been riding since a kid and even competed some before she left for her first tour. She was so excited for this.

How she got Harry and Niall to do it, I don't know. I would supposed bribery because I practically had to drag Louis along to do it. Of course Liam was coming along, he's whipped and seems really open to try new things overall. How the hell can he be a criminal? Louis's only request was that we're back by five, apparently he and the boys has some business then.

"Good morning fellas!" A man shows by the door of the big house. He's in a flannel, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat to match with that. It made me realize I forgot my hat in the car last night.

"Good morning Mr. Williams" Sophie says with a big smile on her face. Her short hair was up in a half up half down ponytail and she was wearing something similar to what I was wearing.

Mr. Williams took a look at all of us, looking a bit surprised at the boys. I guess it's not everyday he sees four very tattooed boys in full black clothing show up on his ranch to go for a ride on his horses.

"So, the horses are over here..." Mr. William says as he walks off his porch and towards one of the barns which seemed to be a stable. Right outside there were young girls riding with a teacher. This guy had a lot of horses. "I want you to try riding them outside before I let you off to make sure you can actually manage one."

We follow him into the stable that smells of hay, obviously. The place was filled with flies and the guys immediately made faces when they felt the smell as they waved around them to keep the flies away. He walked us further into the stable where he had six horses, a black one, three white and two brown.

I don't really know anything about horses, just enough to ride one.

"Here are the horses, let me know if you need help to saddle on." he says with a quick nod and a smile before he leaves us there.

"Sophie..." Harry starts.

"No whining." She says, holding up a finger to him.

"I was just gonna say that I don't know how to do this!" Harry defends.

"Oh, no problem, me and Avery will do it for you." She nods before looking to me. I nod to her and we get going.

We found the saddles and they were all ready to put on the horses. The horses were clean so they wouldn't get abrasions from the saddle. I put the saddle away as I put the caparison on the back of the horse, then I went to put the saddle on the horse before I fastened it.
