2017

"Yes mum, her mum knows we're staying over!" I say in the phone hoping she'll hang up soon.

"Okay darling, be safe, alright?" She sighs into the phone.

"Yes I will, talk to you tomorrow"

"Okay, bye then"

"Bye" I hang up the phone and put it back into the pocket of my black jeans. I adjust my black leather jacket sitting on top of a black tank top I borrowed from Hanna.

"Is your mum always that naggy?" Alicia asks over my shoulder. Her and Hanna was sitting behind me on the bus as it was rolling out of the city. I shrug as I move my hair from one side to the other.

"No, she's just worried after the last time" I say, avoiding eye contact with them both.

"Oh come on, that was barely a big deal" Alicia laughs. I sigh and look forward trying to avoid the topic.

"Not for her, Alicia" Hanna defends me for once "Her dad came home because of it"

"What do they expect from their teenage daughter? everyone has to come home with a police officer at least once for their childhood to have been successful" Alicia states.

Yeah, but I still don't think they would enjoy their 15 year old to come home wasted after running from the police. The parents could probably get in a lot of trouble for that. Alicia don't see it like that though, her parents probably couldn't care less.

No one responded to what Alicia said. I just looked out the window as Hanna and Alicia started talking about something else. As I understood, they were just gossiping about some guy again. Isn't Alicia seeing Luke still?

I got bored and started re-tying my shoes on my low-cut black converse. There's about an hour left of the ride. I brought my phone back up and saw a text from my dad. It was a picture of him and the band he's currently on tour with - the killers.

"Two more shows then I'm home to you and mummy"

I sent him a heart back and went on Instagram scrolling through the feed. Nothing was really interesting. They protested against Donald Trump and Mary Tyler Moore sadly passed away, nothing else really seemed to happen. I don't even know who Mary Tyler Moore is?

Luke posted a picture of him and his friends, I scrolled past it. Wouldn't want Alicia to see me liking his posts. I'm not sure she even likes the idea of me following him.

"So, Avery" Alicia says as she leans over the backrest on the seat next to me. I look over to her in curiosity. "We have a guy for you"

"Huh?" I furrow my brows.

"Yeah, he's really cute!" she explains. "His name is Ollie, he's ginger but still cute as hell"

"You didn't have to pair me with someone" I chuckle a bit uncomfortable. I hope they haven't promised him anything because I don't feel like hooking up with someone.

"Oh Avery you can't stay a virgin forever" Alicia sighs "besides, I have one and Hanna have one"

"I'm literally fifteen, no need to rush it" I chuckle. I don't want my first time being when I'm drunk. I want the first one to be at least a bit special, but I don't have too high expectations. Just that the first time won't happen when I'm drunk.

"Yeah yeah, you're a prude we get it" she says as she sits back again. I just shake my head and look back out the window. They do stuff like that all the time and try to tell me I'm boring for not doing it.
