Mama Sui: Aiya! My Hoon is back already with my favorite daughter-in-law Nozomi-chan! Welcome back, both of you.

The happily married newly-weds wai and hug their mother. 

Hoon: Oh ma, is Teh back? 

Mama Sui: Yes yes, your brother is busy helping me mess up the back kitchen instead of helping me cook in the back kitchen. Oh-Aew is upstairs showering. 

Hoon: Oh good, everyone is here. Ma, Nozomi and I have something to tell you and Teh. 

Mama Sui: Of course, of course but first you two just go upstairs na and take a rest. I'll call you down when dinner is ready in a few minutes and we eat together ok? 

Hoon smiles as he usher his wife upstairs. 

Dinner time...

Mama Sui: I am so happy na, my two boys, with their respective partners, having dinner with me! Awwwww. Eat up na, I made plenty of food na. Nozomi-chan, Oh-Aew, eat up a lot ok? Don't be shy na. 

Both Oh-Aew and Nozomi smile and nod. Mama Sui smiles as she watches how both her sons automatically scoops food for their respective partners. 

Teh: Ah, fried chicken and coconut milk curry. Ma made this for you when she knew you were coming for dinner today. 

Oh-Aew: Thank you ma, I really love your fried chicken and coconut milk curry. Teh, you should have told me we'll have fried chicken for dinner then I wouldn't have eaten the left over fried chicken you waved this afternoon when we were studying. 

Teh: Ou, you were the one who said you were craving for chicken wing khrub. 

Oh-Aew: Well, I am craving for chicken wing lately. 

Mama Sui: Awww, then Oh-Aew, you eat more na. I have my second batch ready, all hot and crunchy, just the way you like it. 

Oh-Aew smiles politely to Mama Sui and makes his usual weird face to tease Teh. 

Mama Sui: Ah and also you na Nozomi-chan, you don't look too well sweetie, you ok? 

Hoon smiles as Nozomi blushes slightly. 

Hoon: Ma, there is something we want to tell you.

Mama Sui hugs both her son and daughter-in-law and quickly runs out to the alter to do her prayers.

Teh: Gor, congrats!! I am gonna be an uncle! 

Teh hugs his sister-in-law and then his brother. 

Hoon: Well you better do your damnest to be a good uncle. Take it as your practice before you become dad yourself. 

Teh: Huh? What? 

Hoon: Never mind, how are you feeling Oh-Aew? Better? 

Oh-Aew nods as he tries to stand up from the couch but wobbles so Teh makes him sit down again to sip warm water. 

Oh-Aew: I am so sorry Gor Hoon I spoiled you and Nozomi-san's breaking the good news. 

Hoon: Don't worry about it. The most important thing is, are you sure you don't need to see the doctor? 

Oh-Aew shakes his head. 

Oh-Aew: I felt much better after throwing up and taking the medicine ma gave. It must be the chicken wing from the afternoon. 

Teh: See, I told you microwaving leftover fried chicken isn't a good idea. 

Oh-Aew: It did tasted a little off but you were the one who bought it. Bad boyfriend. 

Teh: Ah, ok ok, my bad. I'll never buy from that stall again ok? I'll make you fried chicken myself.

Oh-Aew: Hmmm, don't bother. It wouldn't be as nice as ma's. 

Teh: It will be by the time you are knocked up.

What he didn't notice was Oh-Aew smiling to himself. 

Oh-Aew adjust his position comfortably on the thigh to nap a little longer.
