An Oh-Aew Fried Chicken Thing

Oh-Aew: Teh...

Teh: Yes?

Oh-Aew: I am hungry...

Teh: So fast? We just ate my ma's Hokkien mee, like, less than 2 hours ago.

Oh-Aew: But I am hungry...

Teh: Well, I guess it's easier to get hungry when we are using our energy to study. What do you want?

Oh-Aew: Fried chicken please.

Teh: Ok, I'll go get some from across the streets but you stay here and memorize this set of flash cards. If I come back and you still can't memorize them, you can't eat. Deal?

Oh-Aew pouts.

Oh-Aew: Ok. I want drumstick.

Teh: Ok, get it. You only want drumstick, no breast.

Teh leaves Oh-Aew to study and comes back 10 minutes later with fried chicken.

Oh-Aew: Smells so good...

Teh: Nope, as promised, you'll guess the word, meaning and pronunciation before you can eat. What is this?

Oh-Aew: Chicken.

Teh: Good. This?

Oh-Aew: Oil.

Teh: Great, keep going. What is this?

Oh-Aew: Flour. See? I can do it.

Teh: Last one. This?

Oh-Aew: Umm....that....

Teh: Come on, last one before you can eat. What is the meaning of this?

Oh-Aew: Umm...I don't know....

Teh: It's easy. It has the prefix representing food and suffix of me/I. What does that means?

Oh-Aew: Oh! HUNGRY!

Teh: Good job! See? You can do it when you put your mind to it.

Oh-Aew: Doesn't matter. Heat the fried chicken for me. I am hungry.

Teh: Huh? Why do you need to heat the fried chicken again? I just bought it from the store?

Oh-Aew: But, it's not hot enough. Please heat it up for me?

Teh: You want me to heat up, the fried chicken, which I just bought, fresh from the store, again, as in, the microwave?

Oh-Aew: Yes please. I love my fried chicken hot.

Teh: But isn't this hot enough? See? There's still smoke coming out! It's hot!

Oh-Aew pouts again and this time his eyes start to get teary and he looks down. Teh feels guilty immediately.

Teh: Ah, ah, ok fine. I'll heat the fried chicken up for you. Don't cry, please?

Teh edges over to comfort Oh-Aew with a hug and soothes his back. Oh-Aew nods. Sighing, Teh takes the fried chicken to the kitchen downstairs, bumping into his older brother.

Teh: Gor, what are you doing?

Gor Hoon: Making chicken ginger soup for your sister-in-law. She isn't feeling well with the baby. What are YOU doing?

Teh: Microwaving fried chicken for Oh-Aew.

Gor Hoon: Huh? Didn't you just bought them? I saw you.

Teh: That's the thing. I explained that this is a freshly FRIED chicken but he insist I ding this in the microwave. I didn't want to and he starts his waterworks on me.

Gor Hoon: Oh, that's very cute of Oh-Aew. Maybe it's a preference thing. Not a big deal.

Teh: Do you ding your fresh fried chicken in the microwave?

Gor Hoon: Dude, have you seen me do it?

Teh: No. Does sis-in-law do it?

Gor Hoon: No. Not that I recall.

Teh: Exactly and ma doesn't do it too. Maybe this is a preference thing.

Gor Hoon: Well, everyone has their own favorite way of eating anything. You eat your Hokkien mee with extra sauce so why not?

Teh: Oh bro, you are right. Thanks. Eww, the skin isn't crunchy anymore.

Gor Hoon: It's probably how Oh-Aew likes it.

Teh: Yeah, kinda cute but weird. Gotta go back to tutoring him.

Gor Hoon: Ok. Oh let me know if Oh-Aew wants some ginger chicken soup. I made extra.

Teh: No thanks. Oh-Aew has this plate of microwaved fried chicken to finish before he gets any soup plus he isn't pregnant so he doesn't need the soup.

Gor Hoon: *Mumbles* Yet.

Teh: Huh? You said something gor?

Gor Hoon: Nothing. Run along.

Teh: Ok, bye.

Yukichi's Note: I LOVE [I Told Sunset About You] and recently can't stop watching BKPP stuff. Ok, these babies are WAY younger than me and I really hope this is the last pair I will pay attention to because yeah, no more energy.

Then again, I am very surprised with the exceed expectation performance BKPP gave (not the super best but enough to raise the BL bar for Thai BL) for this series. I absolutely love the characters and BKPP's preparation done for the series based on the documentaries.

I would love to write a bit on My Ambulance my version if I have the time but will be doing a bit more on Teh and Oh-Aew. I want mpregs of them too but I want to see their personality growth in Part 2 so maybe. maybe no mpreg until then.
