The Pact

Tantawan: Oh, it's you. Come on in. 

Tao wais Tantawan and steps inside the house. The living was a mess. Dust flying everywhere. 

Tao: P khrub, I umm, here to see Tewkao? 

Tantawan: Oh, he went out to do some grocery shopping since 10am, and it's 2pm and he STILL isn't back, that naughty kid. Does he knows you are coming over? 

Tao: Yes khrub, I am supposed to pick him for tea. 

Tantawan: What time? 

Tao: 4pm? 

Tantawan: But you are 2 hours earlier? Confess now, what's your motive coming so early to see my brother huh? Are you planning to do indecent things to him?

Tao: Umm, no? I just finished my shift so I thought I come over a little earlier and if he wasn't ready I could take a nap? 

Tantawan: Aha! But you want to sleep on my brother's bed right? 

Tao: Umm....if he allows me to but I am fine with the couch in the living room. 

Tantawan: Um. I like that you are honest. Ok, you can go back to sleep. Just move those stack of albums to the floor to make space on the couch and you can nap, hope you don't mind the dust. 

Tao: Not a problem P. Are you doing spring cleaning? 

Tantawan: Yup. I am cleaning up the guest room downstairs so Chalan can come over to stay if he wants. 

Tao: Ohhh....P, can I come stay over too? 

Tao: Yeah sure, if my brother invites you. Until he does, no sleep overs for you. I'll remind Chalan not to bring you along. 

Tao: Ou, that's harsh. But never mind. I am sure Tewkao will invite me one day. P?

Tantawan: Yup? 

Tao: Is this like Tewkao's photo album? It has his name on it.

Tantawan: Oh yes, it is. Those are pictures I took of him when he grew up. 

Tao: Oh! Can I go through them please? Please? Please? 

Tantawan: Ok, sure. Here, let me show you. My little baby brother was so adorable then. 

Tao: He is still adorable now. 

Tantawan: Awww, plus boyfriend points for you. 

Tao: Huh?

Tantawan: Never mind. Here, this is when he was just born, looks like wrinkled monkey. This, is when he was one, then this is when we showered him naked. And this was when he was two and he was in a tutu. 

Tao: Awww, so cute! Why was he wearing a tutu? 

Tantawan: Because I found my old tutu and he was the only baby around so of course I had to dress him in tutu. Then this was he was five, opps, naked again, sexy I know. Then 7 years old. Oh, did I take him when he shower again? Oh goodness. This was when he was twelve, he showed off his shoulders. Oh, this was when he was 15 years old, pretty yes? 

Tao: Wow. 

Tantawan: Yup, and his sweet 16, I dolled him up, make and hair and then hired a photographer to take his sweet 16 picture. He has Swarovski in his hair and at the bottom of his eyes? Look like an angel right? 

Tao: Aha...

Tantawan: I think you are drooling, eww. Well duh, we have good genes. Tewkao looks like my daddy. He was a very handsome man. 

Tao: P'Tan? 

Tantawan: Huh? What? 

Tao: Do you think I can take a snap shot of this picture? Please? Please? 

Tantawan: Huh? So you can use this for indecent purpose? Nope. 

Tantawan snatches the album but Tao stops her and show her his best puppy eyes. 

Tao: I promise I will never ever use his picture for anything indecent? 

Tantawan: No ka. How can I trust you?

Tao: I swear to you in the name of my honor as a doctor. 

Tantawan: Hmmm...you really promise me you'll just keep the picture for yourself? 

Tao: Well, Tewkao rarely agrees to take photo with me or let me take photos of him, it's just a keepsake, I promise. 

Tantawan: Hmmm.....fine then but on two conditions. 

Tao: Ok. 

Tantawan: One is, you must not let Tewkao know I showed you his baby naked pictures or he'll nag me and two, pinky swear. 

Tao latches his pinky to Tantawan's pinky. 

Tantawan: If you ever use the picture for something indecent, may your sausage never work properly. 

Tao: P, that's kinda harsh. 

Tantawan: To protect my brother's innocence, yes. 

Tao: I promise I will never threat the picture like that. I need my sausage to work properly. 

Tantawan: Ok, you can take pictures, only this. Do it now so I know you don't do other hanky-panky. 

Tao: Thank you P, you are the best. 

Tantawan: You are welcome. Oh, Tewkao is back. 

Tewkao walks in from the front door, carrying groceries. He notices Tao. 

Tewkao: Ow, you are early. I thought we agreed 4pm? 

Tao: Nothing, just missing you, that's why I came in early. 

Tewkao: I am not missing you. Did P'Tan said anything weird to you? Are those my photo albums? Are you showing them to him P? 

Tantawan: No, no, he was about to open but I stopped him. I am such a good sister right? See? I am hugging the albums with my might. Don't worry na Tewkao. Love you. 

Tewkao raises his eyebrows and heads to the kitchen with his groceries. 

Tao: Tewkao, wait for me! Let me help khrub! *Whispers to Tantawan* Thank you P, love you! 

Tantawan smiles and gives him a finger heart.
