"Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege," McGonagall addressed us from the top of the courtyard stairs, "should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in any way, that privilege shall not be extended again."

With that she waved us of and we all turned to each other in giddy chatter and began walking on the trail leading us to the village. Today was finally the Hogsmeade trip and you could feel the excitement in the air.

"You best hope the new stock at Zonko's is sold out already Kara because you're about too feel my wrath, " Alex grabbed my shoulders and grinned at me making me roll my eyes at her.

"Who's wrath?," We both turned to look at Blaise who approached us with a smile in his face

"Ah nothing, Alex and I made a bet to see if she could possibly pull off pranking me," I shrugged Alex off and placed my hands inside my pockets.

"Oh cool, can I join?," Blaise rubbed his hands together and blew on them due to the cold. Alex saw this and handed him a pair of gloves answering him, "Yeah sure the more the merrier."

"Great now I've got two people coming after me, hope you don't get in trouble with McGonagall, " I teased.

"Won't happen," Alex held her head high up and and flicked her hair to the side," Besides when have I ever gotten in trouble or caught, emphasis on caught, for not following the rules."

"You have a point there I guess, anyways common or else we won't even have a chance to get there at all," I rushed them back to the crowd of students we had fallen behind from.

Once we got to Hogsmeade, Alex and Blaise went on their own after I told them that I had some business to attend to. By that meaning I needed to go volunteer at Madam Pudifoot's for the day so I waved goodbye to them and headed straight to the tea shop.

Right at the door of the store, I dusted my shoes and headed inside causing that familiar door bell to ring. Automatically the smell of cinnamon and sugar hit my nose like a hurricane causing a sense of warmth to overcome me. I looked around and already was the little pink shop packed with people. Carefully avoiding stumbling on tables, I made my way to the front desk and rang the little silver bell.

I didn't have to wait long before Madam came in bursting the door of the kitchen calling out, "Coming!!". She quickly dusted of the flour from her hair and dress and rushed to the desk in a fritz. Once her eyes landed on me, a giant smile rose on her face and she extended her arms outward in excitement, "Anolva my dear you're here.!!!"

I engulfed myself in her hug and she grabbed my face and moved it around looking at it from every angle, "Let me take a good look at you my child. My my darling how much you've grown this year!"

I giggled at her sweet compliments as she continued, "It was like yesterday when you were tumbling around the store handing out cookies and juice boxes."

"I can assure you Madam that I don't tumble anymore," I grabbed her hands in mine as she led me to her small cramped kitchen.

"How you grow so fast my dear but....," she looked behind me and peeked at the serving area, "I don't see no special friend next to you, will they be arriving late?" She rose her eyebrows suggestively while she squeezed my hands.

I bursted out in laughter at her suggestion and replied, "Oh no Madam I'm far too busy and young for those things yet. Don't tease."

She grabbed my shoulder and chuckled as well, "How inappropriate of me dear. Should've known my little helper is far too good for anyone." She pinched my cheek and told me were the aprons were. How I loved our little convos.
