All three of us walked in and sat on the Slytherin side earning us nasty glances from the other side of the room. I simply sent them all cold glares and resumed to sit down next to Alex while Malfoy sat down next to Zabini.

McGonagall started class shortly after we settled down and she instructed us to quietly begin our work. I took out my quill and turned to see that Alex hadn't even bother to open her book neither was her quill out. She was rather odd I thought. She wasn't keen on being late but she wasn't exactly doing her work either. Instead she was falling asleep in her arms.

Just then the door opened and two boys came rushing in with books in their arms. Panting they slowed down and made their way to their seats.

The nerve of some people. If you're going to be that late then don't bloody come at all.

"Mr.Potter, Mr.Weasly! Perhaps if I turned you into a pocket watch you'd arrive on time to class," The professor stood in front of them while the boys looked down in embarrassment.

"We got lost," They both said looking down.

"Then perhaps you need a map," This only caused them to blush deeper as the rest of the class snickered, "I can assure you, you wont need a map to get to your seats. Go on."

They rushed to sit down and immediately started on their work while the rest of the class carried on with their own things. I turned back to look at Alex who was still sleeping and sighed frustratingly. She wasn't going to be much help in this class.

After class ended, I shook Alex causing her to fall out of her desk and send her books to the floor.

"Is it over?," she asked groggily.

"You might as well have slept through the day," I gave her my hand to stand up as she dusted off her robes.

"Mate, you should see ya'self in the mirror, " Zabini snorted when he looked at her. Alex's short grey hair was a clumped mess and the lettering of the book had been imprinted into her right cheek. I couldn't help but laugh at her disgruntled face.

She quickly fixed her hair and wiped her cheek as we followed Malfoy and Zabini out to the hallway.

Surprisingly, we all had Charms next together so we walked as a group into the next class. Flitwick ushered us into our seats and just like McGonagall, started the lesson right away after everyone was present.

I quickly got the hang of the charm we were assigned to perform. Malfoy, however, was struggling beside me but it wasn't long before he quickly mastered it as well.

Class ended shortly after a boy exploded his feather during a Levitation charm. The class had erupted into laughter as the poor boy was sent to the bathroom to clean up.

"What an idiot," Malfoy laughed behind him as the boy dragged onto the bathroom.

I stood up knocking Malfoy to the side and waking a sleeping Alex once more.  I had suddenly remembered Flying was next and my chest filled with excitement once more and I giddily clasped my hands together.

"Whats the matter with you," He asked.

"I had forgotten what our next class was but It came back to me right now."

"Are you mental," Malfoy stood up an pushed me out of the way looking at his schedule, "These idiots will be lucky to see how skilled I am in flying and it'll leave their stupid mouths hanging."

"I'm certain you'll be the one with the hanging mouth instead, once you relish in my wonderful flying, " I challenged and smugly walked in front of him.
