"So you and Malfoy got detention huh? Guessing I won't see you at dinner then."

I removed the laddle from our cauldron and set it aside. We were in our Potions class and our job was to create a potion that would instantly get rid of any bad odor. I partnered up with Alex since we both really only  knew each other in this class and because we worked fast as a team. Seeming as I was in a better mood I had decided to tell her the happenings of yesterday night.

"Yeah I guess so," I rubbed my face before slouching back down on my stool.

"What do you reckon they're going to have ya'll do," She asked.

Sighing I told her,"I honestly don't know. We'll have to wait and see."

I packed my books after we were dismissed and we headed to our next classroom.

The rest of our day went by pretty uneventful and I was trying not to think to much about what was waiting for me in detention. However eventually the time came and I found myself with the rest of the group, making our way outside the school grounds with Filch at night.

" A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time in detention where you'd find yourself hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God I miss the screaming, " I shuddered. I had to be honest with myself and admit that I sure did find this man creepy in so many ways.

We continued to follow him until we made a stop in front of Hagrid's Hut.

"You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight, " He ushered us towards Hagrid who had appeared from within and and made his way to a campfire, "You've got a little job to do inside the Dark forest." I swear I could hear smirk in his voice.

The dark forest? It's not like I was scared or anything but I wasn't too keen on what resided there. Beside me I could feel the rest of the group tense up .

"The forest? I thought that was a joke. We can't go in there," Malfoy stammered, "Students aren't allowed."

Filch looked down at him and sent him an ugly stare.

"And there are....w-werewolves," Malfoy nodded towards the forest and almost as if on cue a howl could be heard. A shiver went up my spine causing my hair to stand on its end. Filch assured us that there would be more than werewolves in the forest causing another shiver to creep up my spine. Malfoy frowned in fear next to me as Hagrid moved us along inside the forest.

Just two minutes in and I was already fearing for my life. A blue fog surrounded us and every leaf crunch and twig snap would make all of us jump in fear. Our heads would snap at every sound that could be heard. How the bloody hell did I manage to get myself here?

After a couple of minutes of silent walking we rested in front of a mass of thorny vines. Hagrid then bent down to stick his fingers in silver metallic goo and he rose them to his face to examine the liquid. He stood up and Potter asked, "Hagrid what is that."

"What we're here for," Hagrid answered, "See that. That's unicorn blood that is. I found one dead a few weeks ago."

We all turned to look at each other and I could still see that Malfoy's face was contorted in fear. What a swell thing to tell children.

Hargid instructed us that it would be our job to find the injured creature. Ron and Hermione would go with the professor while Malfoy, Potter, and I would go together.

"Okay then I get fang," Malfoy spat.

"Okay just so you know he's a bloody coward," Hagrid answered making Fang whinned and I gave her a slight pat when she came towards us.  Poor dog it wasn't his fault.  Anybody would have been scared in this bloody forest.
