HARRY
"Harry!"
I turned around in surprise, shoving the velvet box behind my back. I sighed in relief when I saw it was my friends, Louis wasn't there.
"Hey guys," I smiled softly when they reached me. "How are you feeling El?"
Two days ago, after her outburst, she had told us what was really happening to her, how she was being by the man she was seeing, who happened to be KJ.
"I'm fine, the bruises are healing quite well. I'm so glad for these days off."
I sighed, putting my arms gently around her shoulders. "We're gonna be there for you, okay?"
"Yeah," Liam spoke up. "He's not going to get near you. We'll make sure that someone is always with you at all times so he can't touch you."
She leant her head on my shoulder. "Thanks guys."
"But, El, you have to end it with him, okay?" I rubbed her back. "Otherwise, he'll always have some kind of control over you."
"I know I need to, but-"
"Babes, I know you love him. I know how hard it's going to be trust me. You know what, let me tell you something. Guys, can we have a minute alone?"
They all nodded, and moved off.
I turned back to her. "The only person I've ever told is Lou, but I want you to know that you're not alone, okay?"
She nodded hesitantly.
"My first relationship was when I was 17. I was a junior in high school, taller than most people, wild curly hair and a scarily energetic personality." I chuckled, remembering those days. "I got bullied a lot for being gay. I was one of the only people out in the school, and I guess no one else came out because they saw how I was treated. Um, there was this one boy who never bullied me though, his name was James, and he was the captain of the football team. I mean, he never really stopped the bullying, but he never took a part of it either. Long story short, a month or two later, he took me to the locker rooms and confessed his feelings to me. I was confused, to say the least. Obviously, I didn't really believe him, considering the fact that he was still friends with those jerks and he let them bully me. I told him to prove it to me, and then left. The next day, I walked into school, already expecting rude nicknames and shoving, but it never happened. It didn't happen all day. None of them even looked at me that day or any day after that. Apparently James had told them all to back off. Anyways, the next day I came up to him after school, right before he left, and I kissed him. We- well, we had sex that night, he took my virginity. And then everything went downhill. First it started with verbal abuse, him telling me that I wasn't good enough for anyone, and I believed him. I stayed with him because I thought that if I left, I'd be alone. So I took the harsh words, and the bruises, and that's when Zayn came along. The minute he found out, he reported James, and he was taken away, and locked up. Words can't describe how angry I was at him, I mean, he had taken away me one chance at not being alone, you know? But as the weeks past, and I slowly got better, I realized how much he had helped me. I mean, without him, I'd probably still be stuck in that relationship. El, however hard it is, you have to do this, because if you don't do it know, you'll never do it."
I wrapped my arms around her shoulders as she looked up at me with teary eyes.
"Just remember, we're all here for you. You're never alone."
I'm seriously so sorry for taking so long to update, I have no excuse!
