Warnings: minor character death
LOUIS
It had been 6 days since I had heard from Harry. I had called and texted him repeatedly, but he never answered. I was getting worried. He had texted me when he got home, but then, all of a sudden, the texts stopped coming in. At first I thought that he had gone to sleep because he was tired, but then he didn't respond the next day or the day after that. I couldn't sleep. What if he had decided he didn't want me anymore? What if he found someone new, someone better?
Suddenly, my phone began to ring. I looked over and saw that Harry was called. My eyes widened. Why was he calling now? Tentatively, I picked up the phone.
"Harry?"
"L-Lou?"
The minute he spoke, I knew something was wrong. I forgot all about my other worries and focused on him.
"What's wrong Hazza?"
"Lou, I-" I heard a choked sob. "I can't breathe," he gasped.
"Baby, calm down," I soothed him. "Tell me what's wrong."
"H-He's dead Lou."
"Who's dead baby?"
"R-Robin. H-He p-passed away."
I gasped. "Oh, Harry, I'm so sorry."
"I miss him so much Lou. W-We were supposed to go on a trip this week, just us two. A-And now he's gone."
I stayed silent.
"I need you here Lou, please."
And that was that. I packed my bags, and walked quickly down the stairs.
"Where are you going honey?" My mom asked me standing in the kitchen.
"I'm sorry mum, but I have to go to Harry."
She sighed. "Lou, I know you miss him, but you promised that you would spend two weeks with us-"
"It's not like that, mum," I interrupted her. "Harry's step-dad just died and he's in a really bad place. I need to be there for him."
"Oh," she nodded. "I understand. I'm gonna miss you, baby."
I hugged her. "I promise I'll be home in a few weeks. I just need to make sure Harry's okay, and then we'll both come over, okay?"
She smiled. "Go on then."

I knocked on Harry's front door a few hours later. It was opened by a tired looking Anne.
"Louis," she gave me a small smile. "I'm guessing you're here for Harry?"
I nodded, and was about to step past her, but I thought better of it and pulled her into an unsuspecting hug. She gasped.
"Oh! Thank you," she patted my back softly. "I can see why Harry loves you so much."
I smiled, and bounded up the stairs, wanting to be with him as soon as possible.
I knocked on his door softly. "Coming mum," his raspy voice sounded out.
He opened the door slowly and I gasped at his puffy red eyes, and messy hair.
"Oh baby," I murmured.
"Lou?" he questioned, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
"You said you needed me, so I came." I said shyly, looking at the floor. "Is that okay?"
He lifted my chin up and kissed me softly. "I love you so much, of course it's okay."
~
"I didn't expect you to actually come." Harry spoke up from where we were laying on his bed, side by side.
"Really?" I looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"Well yeah. You were with your family who you hadn't seen in ages," he shrugged. "I just thought that you would want to wait a bit."
I sighed, turning over, putting my hand around his waist and resting my head on his shoulder. "Harry, I want you to know that you are now the most important thing in my life. Yes, my family is very important and always will be, but I don't love them the same way I love you. You make up my entire life, when you're happy, I'm happy, when you're sad, I'm sad. You're the light of my life Harry, and I won't let anything take me away from you."
He didn't respond so I lifted my head to look at him. A tear rolled down his cheek and I quickly wiped it away.
"Oh Hazza," I kissed him. "You're the strongest person I know. I know you miss him, but you'll get through this."
He gave a dry chuckle through his tears. "That's not even why I'm crying right now."
I looked at him confused.
"I'm crying because you're such a sap, and you're beautiful words hit me right in the heart and made me all emotional."
I couldn't help but laugh at that. "I'll take that as a compliment."
...sorry?
