HARRY
"Hey Lou!" I greeted him from where I was leaning on the wall, waiting for his class to be let out.
He smiled at me, leaning into my open arms. "Hi Haz."
"Wanna go to the cafeteria? Liam, Niall and Zayn are there."
"Sure," he took my hand, and we walked to the cafeteria together.
We arrived, spotting the other three quickly, and sitting down with him. Niall was already scarfing down his three pizzas and brownies, and Liam and Zayn were sitting rather close to each other, just whispering.
"So, I'm guessing you two made up?" I teased, and Zayn grinned.
"Yup! This is Liam, my boyfriend. We're taking it really slow, though."
Louis sighed. "Finally! I couldn't take any more of Liam's whining that he missed you."
We all laughed and Liam turned red, hiding his face in Zayn's neck.
"Do you want me to get you some food, baby?" I asked.
He giggled, kissing my cheek. "Just a salad please."
I nodded, and stood up to get our food.
I stood in line, tapping my foot impatiently. All of a sudden, someone tapped me on my shoulder.
"Harry? Is that you?"
I looked around in surprise to see my childhood best friend Camille.
"Camille!" I exclaimed, bringing her into a hug. "How are you? It's been so long!"
She laughed. "I've been great! I'm studying Law here, it's my second year. How come I haven't seen you around?"
I shrugged. "Do you want to come sit with me and my friends? I'm sure they'll love you."
She grinned. "Of course!"
We headed back over to the table.
"This is Camille," I introduced her. "She was my best friend for like 8 years back home until she moved away."
LOUIS
(December 6th)
"Harry, I-"
"Hold on for a sec Lou. Camille's telling me something."
(December 7th)
"Hey, Haz, are you ready for our date?"
"I'm so sorry, Lou, I promised Camille I'd hang out with her today. I'll make it up!"
(December 8th)
"Hi babe- what is she doing here? This is a date!"
"She wanted to tag along, you don't mind right?"
"...no of course not."
(December 9th)
"Um... Harry?"
"Hold on, I'm on the phone with Camille. I'll talk to you later Louis."
I growled angrily. I had enough. "Actually, Harry, hang the fuck up, right now." I spoke, my voice deadly calm.
"I'll call you back, okay babe?"
He hung up, looking at me confused. "What Louis? Couldn't you have waited?
I let out a dry laugh. "So you're calling her babe now too? What the fuck Harry?"
"She's my best friend, Lou," he defended. "You can't blame me for wanting to spend time with her."
"Of course not! I don't blame you for that. But I haven't seen you in almost a week because of her."
"Are you saying it's her fault?" he was becoming angry.
"No, Harry, I'm saying it's yours!" I screamed. "You stood me up on the date that took me almost three hours to plan! I had to cancel our reservations, and I even had a special surprise for you and you just blew me off like you didn't care." My voice cracked. "And then on our make-up date, you brought her with you? Is my company really that awful?"
He finally had the decency to look ashamed. "Lou I-"
"Because if it is, maybe I'll rid you of my company."
"Louis-"
"I'm sorry Harry, but it's either me or her."
He looked angry again. "Why are you being like this?" he shouted.
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" I yelled.
His eyes widened, and he took a step back.
"I love you, you bastard, and I don't want you to leave me for her."
"Oh Lou-"
"Just leave it Harry. I need some time."
I walked away with tears in my eyes, leaving Harry standing there.
...sorry. It'll get better I promise!
