(October 22nd)
HARRY
"Hey Harry, do you want to go to the club with me?" Zayn asked me.
"Nah, you go ahead."
He sighed, walking over to my bed and dropping down next to me. "Come on, you have to stop moping about this. I don't understand why this is a bad thing anyways. You have two great guys that are interested in you. What's the problem?"
"I feel guilty!" I exclaimed. "If I choose KJ, I'm going to lose a great friend in Louis, and if I choose Louis, I'll have lost whatever chance I might have had with KJ. I don't want to hurt either of their feelings."
"Harry, you have a heart of gold, you know?" I blushed, and ducked my head down. He laughed, putting his head on my shoulder. "No, but seriously Harry, you know you're going to have to choose soon, right?"
I sighed. "Yeah, I know."
He smiled at him. "You'll be fine. Everyone has to deal with rejection at some point, right?"
I chuckled. "Yeah, I guess so."
"You sure you don't want to come?" He asked me one more time.
"Maybe I will." I couldn't help but grin.
"Yay!" he shouted enthusiastically. "Let's go!"

An hour later, Zayn and I were both smashed, yelling at the top of our voices.
"HARREH! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"
"I LOVE YOU TOO ZAYNIE!"
He sobbed, throwing my arms around him. "Don't leave me!" he wailed.
I cackled. "Never!"

I sighed, leaning on the wall of the bathroom, running my hands on my face. Zayn had gone off with some guy named Liam, and the alcohol had worn off a long time ago.
I groaned. "Fuck, my head."
"You okay, mate?" A voice from behind me asked.
I turned around slowly and gasped in surprise. "L-louis?" I stuttered.
His eyes widened. "Harry." He exhaled.
Before I could help myself, I had grabbed his arm, pulling him in for a tight hug.
"Ouch!" he exclaimed, as he collided with me.
"Oops?"
"Hi." he said breathlessly.
We stared at each other. He was so close to me that I could feel his breath on my lips. He smelled good, like cinnamon.
"I-I have to go." he muttered, pulling out of my grasp and running out of the bathroom. I stood there stunned for a moment.
"Come on, Harry, pull yourself together. Damnnit Louis, why do you have to fuck with my feelings like this?"
LOUIS
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck..." I whispered as I ran out, tears already gathering in my eyes.
I knew I shouldn't have gone out with Liam tonight. First, he left me to hook up with some random God looking guy, and then to make it worse, I met Harry. The guy I had a major crush on. Who didn't feel the same way. The guy who, after I told him how I felt, proceeded to ignore me for the next two days.
"Louis! Wait!"
HARRY
I knew I had to choose now. I couldn't waste any more time. I thought about it for a moment.
First there was KJ. He was a nice guy, and we had a great time when we went out. He was thoughtful and kind, and seemed to like me for me. The sex was great too, which was an added bonus.
Then there was Louis. Where do I begin? He was so adorable, with his pink lips, feathery hair and high, raspy voice. In the month that I had known him, I had seen almost every side of him. I had memorized the sound of his voice, the sound of his laugh, even what he sounded like when he was crying. Talking to Louis made me feel safe and secure and that was a feeling that I never wanted to let go of.
"Louis! Wait!"
I ran out after him, watching as he turned around, a pout on his beautiful face. I wanted to kiss it away and never see it again. I hated seeing him upset.
"Look, I-I'm sorry."
He raised his eyebrows, and that's when I noticed his tear-streaked face.
"Harry, you don't have to apologize for not returning my feelings. I get it, okay? Nothing's going to change between us, don't worry."
"But I do!" I exclaimed. "I do feel the same way. Louis, you make me feel a whole bunch of feeling, most of which I don't really understand. But I like you, I really do. I want to be able to take you on dates, and hold hands with you, and kiss your cheek. I want all of you."
"Y-you do?" he mumbled, a blush making its way onto his cheeks.
I smiled fondly at him. "I do, babe, trust me."
LOUIS
Babe. He called me babe.
"Oh," I didn't know what to say.
"You wanna get out of here?" he asked me, and who was I to say no?
"S-sure." I stuttered and he smirked at me.
"No need to be nervous, love, it's just me."
He grabbed my hand and led me out of the bar. As we walked, hands intertwined, I took the time to look at him properly. He was tall, much taller than I was at 5'7. He was probably 6 feet, towering over me in the best way possible. He had broad shoulders, and his chocolate hair fell in perfect ringlets surrounding his face.
"Louis? You still with me?"
I jerked out of my trance. "Oh, yeah. What were you saying sorry?"
HARRY
I cooed at him as he blushed again, ducking his head down.
"Um, it doesn't matter really. Wherever you want to go is good." he responded quietly and I frowned.
"Are you okay, Lou?" I asked him softly, tilting his chin up with my hand.
He sighed. "I can't help but think this isn't real."
I raised my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
"I just don't want you to be doing all this, saying all this out of pity, you know? Because you feel bad for me."
I pulled him into another tight hug, chuckling when I heard him gasp. "Babe, I'm not doing this out of pity. I like you, I really do. How about this, we go back to my dorm-"
"Already inviting me to your room. It's a bit too early for that, innit Styles?" he interrupted cheekily.
I laughed. "There's the Louis I know. And no, that's not what I meant, you interrupted me."
"I'm sure that's what you would have though." he muttered, but I heard him and my jaw dropped open.
"Excuse me! I am a very dignified gentleman. I do not fuck on the first date." I retorted.
He snickered. "Of course."
"Anyways, we could always just go back and watch a movie? Nothing too big."
He smiled at me, eyes crinkling, and I decided then that I always wanted him smiling.
"That sounds great Harry."
