Warnings: homophobia
ZAYN
I sat in my room, alone. I had returned home a few days ago, and had been in my room ever since. My sisters had come to talk to me a few times, but I preferred to be on my own. Especially since my mother still lived in the house. Ever since my father had gone to jail, she had resented me, as if it was my fault he was a homophobic dickhead and killed someone.
Liam: hey baby
Zayn: hi leeyum
Liam: you okay?
Zayn: yeah, just bored. to be honest, I think I'm gonna leave soon.
Liam: where are you gonna go?
Zayn: I'll just stay in a hotel nearby.
Liam: no absolutely not.
Liam: you're coming to mine.
Zayn: Li I couldn't.
Liam: Please, my family already knows about you, and they want to meet you.
Liam: they'll love you
Zayn: ...okay
Zayn: pick me up tomorrow?
Zayn: how long does it take you to get here?
Liam: it shouldn't take more than two hours
Liam: i'll be there for you in the morning
Zayn: thank you
Zayn: i love you
Liam: i love you too

The next morning, I woke up all packed and ready to leave this hellhole.
"Zee?" A soft voice came from my door.
I looked up in surprise to see all three of my sister standing there with tears in their eyes.
(A/N: yes, I know that Doniya is older than Zayn, but in this story, they are all younger than him. Zayn is 20, Donyia is 17, Waliyha is 14, and Safaa is 12.)
"Are you leaving?" Safaa asked and I sighed.
"Yeah, I am. I'm sorry girls, but I can't stay here anymore."
I opened my arms, and they ran into my hug. "I'll miss you. Mum will take good care of you, I know she will. I'll visit you three as often as I can, yeah?"
They nodded.
I stood up and picked up my bags, hearing a honk outside. "My rides here," I told them. "He's my boyfriend. Do you want to meet him?"
Donyia's eyes lit up. "You have a boyfriend again? Finally! How'd he get you to open up?"
I hit her head lightly. "Excuse me, I am a very open person!"
The four of us headed outside and they helped me load my bags into the trunk. Liam stepped out with a soft smile. "Hey."
I grinned back at him. "Hey."
"Oh, shut up with they shy greetings and kiss for god's sake!" Waliyha exclaimed, and we all laughed.
"Zayn Javaad Malik where do you think you're going?" My mum appeared at the doorstep, a sneer on her face.
"I'm leaving," I told her. "I can't be here anymore."
"Listen here you fag," she snarled, and I shuddered at the word.
