I woke up to a pair of strong arms around my waist. I opened my eyes and realized I wasn't in my room. I started to breathe heavily in fear, but then I heard a snore next to me. I turned my head and saw Dominic's peaceful face. That calmed me down. As I looked at him, I noticed that he had very nice features on his face. It was perfectly tan, for starters, his nose was a little big, but I didn't mind it. He has soft, full, pink lips, that anyone would kill for. And he had really thick eyelashes. Almost feminine like, but it was cute on him.

I don't know how long I was staring at him for, but I saw him stir. Immediately, I closed my eyes, trying to make him think I was still sleeping. I heard him grumble. He was never a morning person. I hoped he actually believed I was sleeping. I had to bite the inside of my mouth for a giggle to not escape. I don't think he noticed, when he gave me a kiss on the forehead. Oh, the butterflies are back. The he said, "I know you're awake, Rachel." Shoot.

I fluttered open my eyes, for my brown ones to meet with his hazel ones. "How did you find out?" I ask guiltily.

"RachyBear, I think you have forgotten that I could always tell if you were awake." He said, chuckling. He was right. Whenever I pretended to sleep around him, he would always find out that I was faking it. I still don't know how he does it.

"Oh, yeah. Well, come on. Let's go eat some breakfast." As I was about to get up I realized that his arms were still around me. "Dom, you do realize that if we want to eat, you have to let me go, right?" I said smiling. I didn't really mind his arms around me, but I didn't say that.

"I don't care. I wanna cuddle." He said. Dominic, my best friend, that I am in love with, wants to cuddle. I think I might die. I think he realized what he just said, as his eyes shot awake. "I mean- let's go eat breakfast!" He said, fake enthusiastically. He jumped up, out of the room, and raced down the stairs. Yep, I thought to myself, he doesn't like me back. I ducked my head as I walked down the stairs, but I was smiling like an idiot, when I walked in on my mom giving Dominic a massive hug.

"Dominic! I have missed you so much!" My mom squealed with joy. My mom had always loved Dominic. She treated him as if he was her own son. It was cute.

"I missed you, too, Mrs. Evans." Dom said kindly. My mom gave him a look.

"Dominic, what did I say about calling me that?" She said with a stern look.

He chuckled, "Sorry, Amy." Yeah, they were on a first name basis. My mom told him to call her either Amy or mom, since she was practically his second mother.

I was laughing when she said this. So stubborn. "What, I don't get a hug?" I pouted.

"Oh please, Rachel. I haven't seen Dominic in ages." As she said that she hugged him even tighter. He didn't mind, though. Dominic loved her as much as she loved him. Maybe even more.

He saw my pout and whispered something to my mom, that got her giggling. What were they talking about? She, then released him and he ran over to me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. Jesus, he was strong. It was both a little painful, yet comforting. He always knew how to make me feel better. Then, I was losing my breath. He still hadn't let go.

"Dominic," I gasped for air. "Can't breathe." He looked at me and then his eyes turned to worry. He released me and looked at me.

"Sorry, I got kinda stronger." He said shyly. He was too cute.

"Haha, I can see that." I told him. Then, I turned my attention to my mom. She was already staring at us. With, was that, hopeful eyes? I must be dreaming. "Mom, can you make us breakfast, pwetty, pwetty, pwease?" I said, trying to guilt her into cooking for us. She gave me a knowing look.
