Cassie POV
Why was he here?
I rolled my eyes at the sight of Brandon, "What do you want?"
"Well hi to you too." He had his signature smirk plastered onto his face.
He was everywhere wasn't he?
In attempts to ignore him, I tried walking right past him. But he quickly stepped in front of me blocking my way.
I sighed, "Look, I need to get to my next class, so it would be nice if you would let me pass." Waving my schedule around to emphasise my point.
Bad idea.
Before I could react, Brandon quickly snatched my schedule from my hand and his eyes skimmed over it. Looking back up at me, he grinned "What timing, looks like I need to get to my class too."
I smiled contently waiting for him to leave, I wasn't in the mood to deal with him.
I frowned in confusion as I continued waiting, but he didn't budge. "I thought you needed to go to your class?" I asked flashing a glance down the corridor, "Why are you still here?"
"I'm waiting for you." He smirked again in reply.
"For me to what?"
"We're going together, I'm in your home economics class." He said as if it was obvious.
I felt my eyes widen at what he said. I was in the same class as him? "What makes you think that I'm going to go with you?"
"Well I'm not going anywhere if you're not going to move. So if you plan on arriving late, then feel free to just stand here." He said leaning against a locker, giving me a fake yawn.
I inwardly groaned, I didn't have a choice did I?
I quickly began trudging to my next class while directing him a sharp glare, "You're a jumbling jerk." I muttered under my breath. He simply smirked, casually strolling beside me with his hand behind his head "Love the new nicknames Cas."

Once entering the classroom, I was again met with a sudden silence from the class. It seemed like that it was the new greeting for me around here. But luckily, this time the teacher was considerate enough to be the first to greet me.
"Hello there, I'm Mrs Plainfield. You must be Cassie." A woman looked like she was in her 50's greeted me with a smile.
"It's nice to meet you Mrs Plainfield, where should I sit?" I nodded back at her with a nervous smile before scanning my eyes around the room for empty seats.
She frowned as if figuring out where I should sit, glancing back at me, her eyes seemed to widen in surprise when she noticed that Brandon was standing next to me.
"What a rare occurrence, Brandon has arrived on time for class."
I raised an eyebrow at him looking for hints to why he was always late, but Brandon was too busy winking at the girls in the front row to notice.
I scoffed as I realized that the majority of the class's girls were also practically swooning over him, their stares never seeming to leave him as they continued to ogle at his presence.
What did they see in him anyway?
I elbowed him roughly to get his attention before Mrs Plainfield continued to speak.
She gestured towards two seats at the back, one empty and another with a girl in who was applying lipstick in front of her hand mirror. "Cassie, why don't you head over to sit next to Brandon over there?"
